Welcome!

I am a return player, and wanted to revisit the game for nostalgia sake. I am breeding high GP Selle Francais horses under the affix Musical Forest, along with a few other breeding projects on the side.

I try to put a background on every horse that is divine or has a special coat, so I'm also always interested in trading for Helios Ray. Feel free to check them out, and if you have a fair offer, please DM me!

Game Play Tips

Maximizing usable energy:

Food gives you the most energy when you have a higher amount of energy. For a standard horse that eats about 14 fodder and 12 oats, you'll get 27% if fed at 72-73% energy. This will go down the less energy you have at the time of feeding. For a foal that eats 6 fodder you'll get back about 6% energy if you feed it at 94% energy.

Stroking gives the most energy when you have the least amount of energy - always try to save this for when you have depleted your horses energy to the max. Doing so will give you back roughly 10-12% energy. Stroking + carrot (8%) + drink (2%) is enough to get your horse from 0% back to 20% energy, and therefore a good combination to finish off your horses day with.

Foal Games:

Foal games have a maximum 60 skill point gain. The best way to ensure that you get the max points is by utilizing the energy tips listed above.

If your foal is eating 6 or less fodder and wakes up with 94% energy, start the day off by feeding and then play as many hours as possible. Stroke, carrot, and drink to bring your foal back up to 20% health before putting to bed. If your foal wakes up with 100% energy, you can play for half an hour first and then feed. Playing for half an hour allows you to deplete just enough energy to maximize the amount you get back by feeding.

If your foal is placed in a box with a shower and/or water trough, it becomes even easier to reach the max point gains.

Equestrian Center:

Meadows: This is one of the easiest categories to have at 99 or 100%. Rotate meadows daily between fallow and pasture to maintain fertility and always have the minimum required meadows for pasture. 1 acre per box is required.

Equestrian Center Capacity: This needs to be at 100 boxes with at least 50% boarded for 100% prestige. Build 100 1* boxes then start replacing them with 3*** boxes. 100 1* boxes require the same amount of resources as a single 3*** box, so very few resources are lost going this route and it allows more boarders to start earning you resources through missions sooner. DO NOT add enhancements to boxes that your are planning to later replace or upgrade. Any enhancements added to boxes that you destroy will not be given back.

Equestrian Center Comfort: Start using the workshops and meadows to produce everything you can provide for your boarders immediately. You need to have double the minimum required amounts for it to show up as available under the listings. Always use flax bedding. Save box enhancements for last since it will be your most expensive endeavor.

To improve boarders prestige, board only your best horses in your own equestrian center and keep the minimum boarding requirement as high as you can while still finding boarders.

Money Makers:

Leather sells for 8 eq each, and can be even more profitable if made into lunges to then sell (each lunge sells for 8k eq).

Wheat produces both wheat bran (needed for mashes) and straw that can be sold for 10 eq each.

Apples sell at 3 eq each but you only need to buy the apple seeds once. The meadow will stay at 100% fertility and you'll have a harvest on the 1st of each month.
