Hiya, I'm Jaxxy. I used to be known as J Maxx on here. I am also known as Black Blaze on the International server. I'm a long time player with my Int. account existing since 2009. I took hiatuses in between due to things like school and work. I tried to log into my old US account recently to find out it no longer exists.
Howrse deleted my old account for being inactive for 180 days, instead of being courteous and notifying me this would happen. I wasn't very far on this server since it was less than a year old, but I'm unhappy regardless that I lost progress on bloodlines that I was trying to build.
But enough salt, here's some things about me.
I'm an adult player. I was an Army brat, born in Germany and raised in New York. I'm a barrel racer as pictured in my avatar. I'm also a veterinary technician just taking my first steps in the veterinary world after graduating in spring 2017. I plan on specializing in an equine veterinary practice, and I'd like to become certified in equine massage therapy to start my own business. I also plan on joining the Army Reserve.
- My first horse was an old man Arabian by the name of Magic. He's currently retired but I miss him greatly.
- My second horse is the one pictured in my icon and the first thing you see on my profile. His name was Gold Rush and I lost him to a battle with cancer.
- My third and current horse is a Quarter Horse named Sage. I got her September 2018 and she's currently in training to be my next barrel horse.
- I also own a Leopard Gecko and two Betta fish.
My main goal is to breed QHs, Arabians, Thoroughbreds and Mustangs. With enough time I hope I can build some good bloodlines on this game. With school behind me I hope to become an active player on this game once again.
7 Ways for a newer player to make Equus
1: Sell your droppings. Each dropping is worth 3 Equus, so let them build up over time.
3: Obtain a Ploutos' Parchment. This nifty little BM item will turn daily droppings into Equus from a horse of your choice! It is contained in the Bonus Pack, or you can look for it in the Item Exchange.
4: Vote in the monthly creation space. You must have at least 30 days of seniority to do this. One day of voting will earn you 1000 Equus, so make sure to vote every day!
5: Manage an Equestrian Center. This one is no brainer. You don't necessarily have to rack up board price, but offering benefits such as additional food and tack will attract more people to your center. You can also plant reoccurring crops such as apples that you can rack up over time and sell for additional Equus.
6: Learn the ways of breeding. Obviously breeding is an essential part of the game and the economy within it. Learning how to properly train and BLUP a horse for breeding, offering covers from stallions, and selling high GP offspring will earn you a good chunk of change.
7: Breed and sell unicorns. I'm sure you've noticed unicorns will fetch a high price in the auctions. If you can manage to buy one, go for it. You must breed with another unicorn in order to produce one, but there's only a 25% chance of producing one. Play wisely!
