Hello there Howrse people! open_up_the_earth_by_karistarr-dbl7uk7.gif

My name is Rosemarie, but you can call me "Rosie", "Ro", or even "RosieRo" if you prefer. I am a 25-year-old woman that is absolutely obsessed with horses, ever since I was small. Calling me "horse-crazy" is an understatement, as I am very passionate about horses, and anything having to do with horses, such as drawing, painting (horses as well as other animals), and model horse collecting (mainly Breyer and Peter Stone horses). I also enjoy things like Anime/manga (my favorites are Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Wolf's Rain, Naruto, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Attack On Titan) writing, reading (My favorite books are also, mostly animal-themed,such as Horses of the Dawn series,Wolves of the Beyond series, Warrior Cats series, and The Black Stallion series. BUT, I also adore other book series as well, like the Divergent series, Harry Potter, Twilight, and the Percy Jackson series as well.) I also adore wolves, big cats (such as lions, cheetahs, tigers, and leopards), and birds as well.

Don't get me wrong, I love all animals, but my greatest love will always be for horses. All horses are beautiful to me, but if I were to pick a favorite breed of horse, it would be the Appaloosa. I adore them greatly- not only because of their long history as a breed, but also for their spotted coats- each Appaloosa having their own uniquely patterned colors, as individual as a snowflake. Each spot, splotch, speckle, and splatter of these lacy and dramatic designs seem to create a dazzling display of nature's art. No two coats are the same. They are highly intelligent, hardy, and versatile horses that can be used for anything, from trail rides, ranch work cutting, reining, and roping to show jumping, dressage, and cross country. I love how they are an "all-around" breed. I also love Mustangs, as they come into a VERY close second to my favorite horse breed, the Appaloosa. So, these hardy, independent, free-spirited, noble, and intelligent horses also have a special place within my heart, along with Appaloosas. Mustangs, undoubtedly, are the true spirits of the West. Paint Horses, Quarter Horses, and Arabians are also some of my favorite breeds as well.
                                                               ~ ~ ~

In real life, I currently have 11 horses at my mom's stable, and all of them are mares! I have experience in all equestrian disciplines, english, western, and I sometimes like to do a little vaulting and polo as well. Me and my mom sometimes like to compete with one another, and we especially like when we play polo on Sundays! We also offer riding lessons for beginners and children at our stables on the weekend. My horses all have a very close bond with one another, due to most of them knowing one another from a very young age. I love all my horses dearly and would like to tell you a little about them.

First is Kona (her full name is "Kona Winds") is the oldest of my horses, and she is a black spotted blanket Appaloosa. She has a filly (she's now a big girl now!) who's name is Jasmine. She also has ANOTHER little filly, who was just born February 25th, 2019- and her name is Jade. Kona's a very inquisitive horse, and we've basically labeled her as "bombproof", since she's so desensitized and calm...quite the opposite of her oldest daughter, Jasmine! She's very friendly and loyal as well, and these traits she has also seemed to pass on to Jasmine. She gets along well with all my other mares, and she seems to be the "boss" of the herd, as the rest of my horses seem to respect her. Me and my mom call her the "Lil' Ol' Lady" because she's only slightly over 14 hands, and she's 21-years-old. She specializes in English disciplines the best, as she is very obedient. She also likes to do polo as well, even though she's older. Kona also participates in riding lessons for beginners and children, since she is so calm, desensitized, and obedient. The children absolutely adore her and love to braid her long mane and tail, groom her, and stuff her with treats.

Second is Jasmine (we call her either "Jazzy" or "Jazz") who is the first foal that Kona had-and she's a dark steel grey spotted blanket Appaloosa. Jasmine looks almost like her sire in appearance. She still likes to hog for attention from momma Kona, even though she's a young mare now. Jasmine's a sweetheart, who LOVES attention from everyone. She's very playful and excitable as well. She's also 9-years- old. She loves to do cross-country with me, trail rides, and, she likes to do polo as well with me and my mom. Did I also mention that she is a treat addict? If I'd let her, she would probably eat only treats and no horse feed. Peppermints are her favorite (specifically LifeSavers peppermints) , and if you give her one when you meet her, she will instantly be your bff. Dixie is her best bud, but she gets along with all of my other horses as well.

Third is Dixie (her full name is "Breezing Dixie") and she's our flaxen golden palomino Quarter Horse, the second oldest of the "herd". She's very calm and collected but has her frisky side, especially when she's put together with her best bud, Jasmine in the field. She's 11-years-old. Dixie is an "all-around" horse regarding equestrian riding disciplines, but does better in Western rather than English. Loves barrel racing! Dixie also participates in children's riding lessons, since she's very obedient, gentle, and calm.  Her favorite treat is NutriGrain bars, specifically the apple-cinnamon flavored ones, so, in the morning, when I do my chores in our stable, she usually ends up eating my breakfast x'D

Fourth is Chloe, who is a bright bay pinto tobiano Pintabian (Pinto/Arabian) horse. She loves to be pampered and spoiled and is very high-spirited and flashy, possibly due to her Arabian heritage, but very obedient, and absolutely loves show-jumping. She's 10-years-old. She's fabulous and she knows it too.

Fifth is Daisy (her full show name is "Oopsy Daisy"), and she's a bright wild bay minimal overo pinto Paint Horse. She was named after her personality, as she is a big goofball, but a huge softie at heart. She's 10-years-old as well. Daisy excels at Western riding in general, and is very good at reining and western pleasure. She is also used for beginners and children's riding lessons; the children especially adore her greatly, for both her looks and personality.

Sixth is Abby, who is a flaxen red chestnut spotted blanket Appaloosa who came to my mother's stable as an orphaned foal, who was ignored by her mother, so we decided to give her a happy home. She now adores her extended family here and turned out to be an amazing horse to work with and ride. She's a happy-go-lucky and curious little mare who knows she is loved greatly now. Is a very gentle mare who is also used for riding lessons at our stable. Abby is also one of the favorite mounts of the children who come to ride.

Seventh is Cayenne, and she's a chocolate bay spotted blanket Appaloosa/Mustang mix that me and my mom adopted from a BLM holding center, where they labeled her as "unfit for adoption". Me and my mother felt so bad for lonely little Cayenne, who was only a yearling at that time that we just HAD to take her home to spoil her too. She now is 12-years-old, and is living the good life at our stable, where she's made tons of horsey girlfriends. She's overall very shy and quiet, but once she warms up to different people, she's a sweetie; and smart too. We have gentled and trained her very slowly and gently as to not rush her so fast, and she's now bridle/saddle/halter broke, and we plan on riding her eventually. She loves to eat carrots, celery and my mother's homemade oatmeal cookies.

And, finally, Eighth is Lily. She's a light dappled grey Arabian who is 8-years-old. A very quiet and shy horse as well, but she's very loyal, friendly, and obedient, and has her little quirks. She likes Cayenne a lot, because of their similar personalities. Lily likes to do trail rides and dressage. Lily also participates in riding lessons sometimes. The little girls that come to ride especially like Lily for her small, delicate, and fairy-tale grace. Sometimes they say that she's a "princess horse" or call her "Princess Lily" lol.

                                                             ~ ~ ~

I also have some Society Finches, as I love birds too, I hand-raised all of them, and quite the hassle it was, feeding them around the clock every 20 minutes. They all can be handled, and some of them know a few tricks.

                                                              ~ ~ ~

So, as you can tell, I have my hands full with a lot of animals. But I love them so dearly and will spoil them till the end of time, if possible. lol.

Concerning my goals for Howrse, right now I would like to breed mainly Appaloosas, Paints, Quarter Horses, Mustangs, and Arabians. I would also like to try crossbreeding between the breeds that I have listed as well. Really, though I'm just here to have some fun and enjoy playing the game. I am also willing to buy any Appaloosa, Mustang, American Quarter Horse, or Arabian foals, regardless of Genetic Potential. So, if you have any foals of these breeds that you are looking to sell, give me a message. Also, my stallions/colts are always up for coverings at cheap prices.

Thank you for reading my page, and I hope you have a wonderful time on Howrse!

These are GIF's from one of my favorite animal Anime series Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (Gin the Silver Star), and the second show of the Ginga series, Ginga Densetsu Weed (Silver Fang Legend Weed). I would recommend this if you love animals- especially dogs and wolves.
