I am STRONGLY AGAINST the decisions made by Cedar Fair regarding Kingda Ka. I see their actions as cruel, to say the least, and will never support any of their parks financially. I invite whoever is reading this to do the same. Utter disrespect to the fans, visitors, rides, and the history of the parks and theme park industry in general is not something you should fund. Other rides similiar to Ka are still in operating, for example the other stratacoaster, Top Thrill Dragster / Top Thrill 2 which was revamped just a few years prior and is operation at Cedar Point. Of course Cedar Fair didn't bother doing a similiar thing with the tallest coaster in the world, because of course spitting on your visitors (the people funding your whole company) is so much better.
Kingda Ka's 20th birthday would have been in May 2025. Cedar Fair AKA the people making decisions for Six Flags Great Adventure, did not care.
The reason I am bringing this up on Howrse, of all places, is because... well, the coaster's my whole username here.
Despite my low seniority, I am not new to the game. Trying my best to congratulate everyone back! I am part of multiple top teams on another server which naturally means I can't be that active here, so sorry if I do not manage to notice your congratulations!
I do not stomp competitions on purpose. I am a solo breeder so getting comp wins is for sure difficult, however I try to avoid comps which are actively being filled
