What annoys me
The Posters saying we should be able to buy horses from the Safe Haven. When a horse is sent to Safe Haven all of the coding is stripped from the horse and CANNOT be reclaimed. This clears space on the servers which in turn benefits all of us players by keeping the game free.
What else annoys me:
People telling others via their page how they should play the game
Yes, I do SH Uni fails. It helps clear up space on the server
(BTW, the current contest where you donate a horse to Ow and a past contest where you sent horses to another country? Where did you think they were going? Clever way for Howrse to get players to turn loose of unwanted horses )
Yes, I buy passes. How do you think the staff gets paid and the servers the games are on are not free
There are ways to get passes without paying for them but the game can and does get played successfully by many who never pay for passes
I have seen pages telling us to give horses "real names, not numbers". These are pixels people and serious players have codes they use and breed many, many horses and to be quite frank, I struggle for names at times.
And regarding pixles.... One of the silliest things I have seen is a player telling people to not sell underage foals as they are still nursing from their mom. I am not sure whether to continue laughing or be concerned for the player who posted it.
About Me
I am an adult player from Southern Calif.
I have played on the International version of Howrse since April 24th 2008.
In my real world I currently have 3 horses and 5 dogs.
My horses are the 3 shown in my avatar. The one in front is actually my Granddaughters' Welsh Pony named Trigger. Beau is in the middle and is a Mustang. Colby is bringing up the rear and is a rescue. He is so sweet and it is hard to fathom any one abusing him, but he was.
My main hobby is a dog sport called Flyball. My dogs and I have been playing since 1996 ( started training in 1995. My original 4 Flyball playing dogs are no longer with me ).
My dogs who are currently running are a 10 year old, one who is 8 but has the brain of a 9 month old and a 2 year old who started racing in Nov 2013. The 2 non Flyball dogs are my Chihuahua mix rescues.
I am a Supervising Judge for NAFA Flyball and get to travel in the US and Canada on assignments.

The photo is my Granddaughter, who plays on International and US,and my dogs. The one she is holding in her left arm is her dog. Thrill passed away in March from Kidney failure. We are very sad by his passing. He was just 10 years old.
