*Prior to posting, look for other topics that might relate to your question. The answer you need may already be available. Pay special attention to topics that have symbols in front of the title-
**Speech Bubble-announcements of importance to all members of the Howrse community.
**Foot Print -official topics that typically relate to or effect the majority of players. Read them to keep updated on current happenings that may have an effect on your game.
*Be polite, courteous and respectful of all players. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you.
*All language and topics should be appropriate for all ages. No swearing is allowed on this site. If you are not sure if something would be considered as swearing--play it safe and use another word.
*English only is to be used on the forums so that everyone can understand your question.
*Don't use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS WHEN POSTING. On the internet, the use of all caps is considered shouting. And shouting is impolite.
*The use of excessive punctuation and smiley’s is distracting and makes things difficult to read. Please limit the use of them to one or two.
*Flooding the forums is not necessary and will not get your question answered any faster. One post on your topic is enough.
*Topics will be relevant to Howrse. Topics that aren't related should be posted on private forums, unless they are specifically against the general user conditions of the game and are not permitted anywhere on the site. Ranting is not permitted. Topics of a political or religious nature are not allowed any where on the site.
*Bumping of topics should be limited to twice per day. If you have just posted, you need to give players time to answer you. They are helping out other players as well.
*A complete and relevant title is required. Your title should reflect the content of your topic to assist players navigation through the forums.
*Announcements are not allowed. If there is a subject or an issue that needs to be announced, a topic will be posted by a member of the Howrse Team.
*The use of signatures, links and images in the public forums in prohibited as they make it difficult for other players to read.
*Each forum has a specific purpose and the use of the correct forum for your topic is required.
*Advertisements for services or other things (outside of the topics in the negotiation forums) can only be posted on your page and private ec forums with permission. This includes , banner/layout services and requests, training services, bm items, friends, waiting lists, private forums/contests, page views, private messages, congrats, petitions and similar topics.
*Polls are not allowed on the forums. If you want opinions about something then you can ask via pm or on private forums. Polls include topics such as--What should I name my horse? how much is my horse worth? which black market item should I buy? and similar topics.
*Readings are not allowed on the forums. If you want to know the Genetic Potential (GP), Inborn Skills(IBS) and Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (Blup) of a horse before you can see it, please pm a friend with the required level to ask. Readings include items such as-what will the gp and ibs of the foal have? how many stars will this horse produce? and similar topics.
*There are moderators and administrative players to enforce the rules and ensure that the forums are kept clean and friendly. Even if you want to help them, you should not try to do their job. If you see a player breaking a rule, a gentle reminder from you is all that is needed. If you have suspicions about another player, privately message a moderator with your concerns and let them look into it. Please bear in mind that what you may think is suspicious may in fact not be. So please do not go "witch hunting".
* Posts may be deleted without notice.
* Failing to follow the forum guidelines, may result in a warning, loss of Karma and/or forum access depending on the nature of the offense and prior history.
* A temporary game ban may be installed if your behavior is considered a threat to the community.

How is the General Ranking score calculated?
The total skills of all yours horses + 1
The age of all your horses added together +1 raised to the power of 0.025
The total number of trophies you own +1 raised to the power of 0.05
Your seniority +1 raised to the power 0.01
Add that lot together and times the answer by 2
Then divide by the number of horses you own +1 raised to the power of 0.2
How do I get a VIP account?
In order to be eligible for a VIP account, you must have purchased at least 100 passes or be ranked among the 50 best players in the following rankings: general ranking, number of trophies, number of rosettes won during the past month, equestrian center prestige, creations (creators and collectors).
The subscription costs 1000 passes per month or 5000 passes for 6 months (one month free)! You can also convert Pegasus subscription time to VIP subscription time.
