Stopchargingmaria! She's been my favorite since breaking her maiden. She's a Multiple Graded Stakes winner, and rarely misses the board.
Barbaro in my opinion was one of the best. Undefeated in five starts going into the '06 Kentucky Derby. He won by a stunning seven lengths, it was easy to imagine him being the next triple crown winner. Two weeks later Barbaro shattered his right hind leg during the preakness stakes; ending his chances at the triple crown. The extremely gifted colt fought for eight months before he was put down because of laminitis
