Welcome!

I am looking for either a way to breed a good dressage horse, or to buy a good dressage horse. Please PM if you can help! (I am looking for the top 3 skills to be dressage, trot and gallop. This can be checked by finding the top 3 skills in the excellency stars in your horse's profile)

My greatest achievement at the moment is my horse Mind's Edge, in the broodmare tab of the "finished" section

About my game

Hi! I am really happy to see people reading my page! Getting down to business, if you want to buy one of my horses, pm me and we may be able to work out a price. Lately I have not been selling many of my horses, as I have been preferring to work on the skills of my own herd. Any sellable Divines are not for sale. If you would really like a horse, tell me why and we might be able to work something out. I always try to help new players if I can. I can also reserve a box for you in my EC. Right now I am working on training my good horses and thinning the herd, because I have so many and it is getting to be a lot.  I also will offer coverings with many of my horses. If you want a covering, just pm me. I will NOT ask for OVER 1,500e for my horses' coverings. I would also like to point out that the school year is currently in progress, so I may not be able to reply to messages very much. I am on here as much as I can, because despite what others say I still very much like the game, but I do not always see messages right away.

Thank you for reading this,

Marmalade

Contests

I do not know of any contests going on right now. Pm me if you'd like me to put your contest up on my page!

About me  (updated February 2019 at 5:15pm [17:15])

I am somewhere between 12 and 18 years old, and my birthday is January 10th. If you would like to give me a gift, I will accept almost anything, unless it is obviously something you are trying to get rid of, such as a horse with low skills and/or GP. I am not always on the game. If you pm me and I don't reply, this is probably because I am either at school or some other activity. This is more likely now because the school year has started.

I ride Morgans, and I have a 11 year old dark chestnut gelding named Luke. He is the second horse that I thought of as a close partner. I used to ride a big 17 year old chestnut gelding named Moe, and I lost him three years ago (2017) from colic. We got Luke soon after, and he will never fill the hole Moe left in my heart, but he is certainly making one of his own (a silly, dorky one). So if you would like to talk about Morgans, you are welcome to.

For anybody who is interested, my favorite Doctor from Doctor Who fluctuates from 10 to 11, with the current 13 coming up super close behind.

PUT THIS ON YOUR PAGE IF YOU THINK HORSES SHOULD BE ADOPTABLE FROM SAFE HAVEN!!!!!!

If somebody does not want to look through my whole bio to find info on a certain breed, pm me and I can tell you the info for that breed. I may have created a few spreadsheets...

I have been working on a training program for horses on howrse to get their full potential. I have only done a few breeds. if you don't see a breed that you want the information on, pm me and I'll see what I can do. THESE ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS. if you don't agree with my methods, change it or ignore it. And before you do ANYTHING, make SURE you have ENOUGH SUPPLIES to keep the horse from dying of exhaustion (always try to leave your horse with at least 20% energy). I just want to share the work I've done with the howrse world.

Groom first (to make sure the morale is full. if it is not, do a mash)

On horses who can only do rides, do as much of the suggested ride that you can in one go, then do the rest of the care actions, including feeding, to regenerate the horse's energy before putting it to bed.

On horses who can only train, do a little bit of training on 2 of the horse's primary skills (I have my simplified training set to 3 hours, so I do 3 hours on each one) then do as much of the primary ride as you can, and finish off with the care functions. As for the skills you should train, each horse on this game has 3 strong skills that prepare them for a competition. The skills of some breeds do not pertain to any one competition, but for those that do, look at the order of skills listed for the primary competition (see below) and train the skills listed 2nd and 3rd, DO NOT train the one listed 1st. This allows your horse to ender rookie comps when they can enter competitions, and still do good in them. See Bullet's BLUP guide below for a more in depth explanation of this, and why you do it.

On horses who can be in competitions but can still train, do 1 suggested competition per care day (see below) then train a little bit on the secondary and tertiary skills (I do 3 hours per skill). Then do as much of the primary ride that you can. (then of course use the care functions). After the tertiary and secondary skills are trained, do the primary skill before all of the other skills.

On horses who have completed training, do as many competitions as you want. competitions help the BLUP, so they should be used often. Horses cannot gain any more BLUP after 11 years (I believe, that may only apply to the age part of BLUPPING)

To BLUP, go to Bullet's equestrian center page for a detailed guide. keep in mind that if they say something that contradicts something on this guide, I trust them more. I have yet to fully BLUP a horse without the use of a BMI.

Note: The criteria to fully BLUP a horse is for it to have 20 wins in a competition, the 3 main skills for that horse bolded (meaning the skill has been brought up to it's max with comps and rides) and it has reached 11 years of age.

To cover, or offer a covering, you want to groom first, then do the covering before anything else. Cover, then do a competition (if you can) then train. If you can't put the horse in a competition, only train.

Key to suggestions (this is the order in witch the info will appear):

Breed - competition specialty (classical or western), suggested competition, primary ride

NOTE: the competition specialty and primary ride apply to equestrian centers. the competition specialty is the equestrian center specialty, and the primary ride is the location. this will give you tack for you horse (depending on the center) and you will get more skills on your ride. if your horse already has tack, don't worry about the equestrian center specialty.

Note: Some crossbreds will not fit this template. Contact me for more info.

Make sure the information above applys to your horse by checking the highest skills, or the special skills (on training page) and compare to suggested competition. If it does not apply to the skills for that competition, look at the skills required for other competitions and choose the one that fits your horse's special skills. The horse's specialty can be changed until age 5. Results may vary.

If you would like me to post alternate specialties for the horses (such as what competition a Morgan should go in if it is Western) pm me. If I feel enough people want it, I will post it on this page. All you have to do is say, "please post alternate specialties," and I will know what you mean.
