My Game

Greetings Stranger, and welcome. You may call me Avi.

      I am an adult player who has been at this game for many years. I started on the International Server back in 2007, but decided to pack up and move to the US Server when it opened. In general, I consider myself an approachable person, so long as you are polite and exercise common sense. I come with a healthy dose of sarcasm and should be taken regularly with a grain of salt.

      My policy is to return all of the Congratulations I receive, and I apologize in advance if I miss you for one reason or another. You can always message me and ask me to return the gesture if it’s for a contest or some other objective, and I’ll be happy to oblige.

      There are a just a few other things you should know about my gameplay and should keep in mind. The first is that I’m open to questions and to PMs in general, but I don’t appreciate random friend requests. No, not even during contests.

      Second, when I am BLUPing my horses and need to collect their 20 wins, I do so by indiscriminately entering a large number of comps, in the order in which they appear on the registration page. What I do is called “blanketing,” and it is a legitimate BLUPing strategy. It is not the same as “stomping.” So before you decide to message me and accuse me of targeting your horses, let me save you some trouble:
I am not stomping you.
Trust me when I say that I do not care enough about you or your horses to go out of my way to target them.

      Lastly, I will occasionally purchase Passes when the urge strikes me, although 98% of the BMIs that I use on my horses have been accumulated from promos and contests. There are two things you should take away from this. 1) Obtaining plenty of useful BMIs without having to spend real money is not only possible, it is incredibly easy. And 2) it is because of people like me (and others who financially support Owlient) that you have the privilege of being able to play this game for free, and are able to continue plastering your presentation with annoying, glittery propaganda against Passes and those who purchase them. You’re welcome.

      As a final note, everything you see on my presentation, from the art to the coding, was created by me and intended for my use only. You’ll find that I am a very stingy person when it comes to things I’ve put a lot of effort into, so you’d be wise not to do any thieving.

Breeding

      Most of the breeding I do on Howrse is for fun and not necessarily because I want to make it to the top of the rankings. For that reason, I rarely have horses up for sale or stud, as there are already much higher GP specimens than mine on the market for those who want them. That, and I am simply close-fisted with my bloodlines.

      The exceptions to this rule of thumb are the horses in my breeding farm labeled First Age. These are foundation horses that I’ve collected over the years, and that are or will be BLUPed before becoming available for public breeding. Feel free to PM me if you’re interested in a covering from one of the stallions, or a foal from one of the mares in this breeding farm.

Halls of Stone

      As you may have gathered by now, I specialize in breeding NIB fjord horses. All of the individuals I’ve produced are marked with the affix ‘in Halls of Stone’ and can be found in the corresponding breeding farm. Foundation horses used in this project which have not come out of my own production are kept in a separate breeding farm marked ‘Khazad.’

      Due to the nature of NIB breeding, I am almost always in the market for foundation fjords. It doesn’t particularly matter to me whether they have any training or not (although I'll pay more for them if they do), so feel free to drop me a line if ever you have one to sell. Just remember to come to me with a price already in mind—I don’t care for the back and forth of negotiating offers.

      Currently, Halls of Stone Fjords are the top GP NIB fjords on the server. I intend to continue breeding these horses with the goal of eventually bringing them up to be the highest GP NIBs overall.

      Just for fun, I’ve kept track of some of the milestones I’ve reached so far. I like to look at them for motivation when I’m drowning in a sea of un-BLUPed foundation horses that need my attention.
