whoa cool!
I wish I had money for a Breyer they look so cool! :O
yeah they are...you can typically go to Antique malls and find individuals being sold for 10+ dollars! my most expensive Vintage one was only about 19 dollars (though prices do vary) and Google shopping typically has used or sometimes new ones for sale relatively cheap!
plus obviously the price for the scales ranges...1:32 stablemates are usually 5.99 unless they're special run, 1:12 is usually 15-30 and 1:9 is usually 35 and up.
also all the prices I mentioned are in usd, to clarify

I paid around 55 or 56 quid for the Valegro i got (i got it from a tack-shop)

I recently started collecting Breyer horses for fun!
The models for crafts and painting are my favorites but I like the models Breyer sells, that are already painted as well. I don't own that many models however since I can't afford to buy that many.
I first received Breyer models as gifts when I was little. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I started to get more into it as a hobby. My most recent purchase was Mumbai!
My favorite mold is Fireheart. I have all of the models aside from the raffle and auction ones. I have my sights set on Blue Zeus. I get to go to Breyer Fest in person for the very first time this year, so I’m super excited about that!
I collect and show! I had a "carpet herd" as a kid but didn't really start collecting until 2020ish. I mostly collect Breyer Stablemates just because I don't have a ton of space but I do have a handul of classics and traditionals. I also have a handful of customs an artist resins that are really fun!
I have the gypsy Vanner, I soon I might be getting Hope, she is only $28 on amazon if anyone is interested in her.
oh yeah hope is a good model! I got her at a relatively nearby saddlery for $35, so not too expensive! I realized once I put her next to my Brookside Pink Magnum model that they're both the Cefnoakpark Bouncer mold, and have since been obsessing over the mold. honestly hope's really pretty, and her kind of opalescent coat (her blue tinted shiny mane and tail and pink tinted coat) make her even prettier! she's the first Breyer I bought with my own money, so I'm proud to have bought her since she's a promotion model and a "limited edition" (in quotes since she's been around for a while)
