Western Riding or English Riding

This is my first forum so I don't know how to do them that well... but what one do you prefer/Do? Western Riding or English? Me personally I like Western and enjoy it, but I've never done English, but I would love to try English Riding as well, For the ones who do English, what discipline do you prefer and same for Western?

I have done several disciplines in English and Western in competitions and at home.
I personally enjoy western a touch more because it feels like a larger range of acceptance and I grew up primarily around it; although there will always be people in either that think they are above others. I enjoyed many patterned classes, on the ground or in the saddle; showmanship in halter has always been a top favorite. I liked Reining a lot, but didn't really have the horse for it. I also enjoyed Western Pleasure, but got into Ranch Riding as I got older as it better suited my budget (in terms of horse, outfit, and tack).

My own mare is a Fox Trotter and she enjoys English a lot more; I could expect more out of her at shows and I think it is because of how light the saddle was and that it fit her movements better. I also have always felt more secure in a Western saddle, but I enjoy the balance of the English.
