How do I open a pinata.


Each pinata has a certain number of points needed before it will open. You get points by clicking on the pinata.

The timing varies with each pinata and the objective will help you either by giving you points, allowing you to click more than once or reducing the time between clicks.

In the begining it will test everyones patience as you must wait for 24 hours before you can do the next click but by pinata 6 the time is reduced to every 6 hours.

Also you can ask 4 players to click on your pinata ( these you ask for) but you do not know who they are ( they will be on your friends list) but again it is not a list you see. You must pay 200 Equs for each time you ask a friend. This increases from 4 to 8 over the pinata promo.

The number of points goes from 5 needed to 2000 ( pinata 20) but the objectives at this time allow you to cut that in half and you click time is running at a click every hour( also some objectives done earlier allow you 2 clicks, instead of 1.

This promo last at least 20 days so you do have time to get it done.

How many HOPs and passes would I need.

When I did it 2 years ago ( the first time) it took me 2 passes and 15 HOPs.

The one I did on the test server does not mean much as I simply used 150 HOPS to get it done in 30 minutes.

In reality you should have 1-5 passes ( one of the objective requires a pass so this is not a pass free promo) and 10-15 HOPs. Now you may be able to get away with less but to be properly prepared I tell all my friends the same thing ( 1-5 passes and 15 HOPs).

When should I use the passes and HOPs.

On the test server we were given 1000 passes to spend as we wished so we should not use that as any sort of benchmark to measure against.

Also the HOP option comes up about 3 times during the promo for a limited time on the regular version and if you use passes or HOPs too early you will kick your self when you get to the harder objectives.

When I did it normally 2 years ago I use passes or HOPs ONLY when it was near impossible to get the objective done.


The worse one was the turnip UFO. It held up about 80% for at least a day and some almost 2 days. That was definetly a hop opening one IF and that is a big IF the HOPs were being offered when you were at that objective.

So is it doable with what I said you need...absolutely if you are careful and plan what you are doing.

Can I do this promo with say 3 passes.

Some have said they could but if I were you I would try to build up a small reserve of HOPs by the exchange. Every HOP you have will save you a ton of time and points ( near the end).

All I can say is if you want both divines start putting aside anything you need for the objectives. I made a list of them so look them over carefully as the prices will skyrocket through the roof when the promo starts.

Just get as many as you can. I personally always like to have 10 in my inventory at all times. I am betting you will use all of them on this one promo alone.
