First you can have as many workshops as you wish. What changes when your EC prestige goes up or down is the number of workshops you can use.

5 is the max if you have 80% or better and I posted the rest of the schedule under one of my spoilers. So don't go buying tons of workshops.

Troughs will have to be bought or crafted. supplies ( called resources) can be got by missions, bought, UFOs and some by planting ( leather0.

Drafts are not coming until May and no info on how and what will come, how they will come or breeds although there is some speculation ( nothing is fact)

Here is a list of things I have done to prepare. Each action is to save me time nd space.

1) Repair All EC boxes to 0% wear and tear
2)Converted a lot of my droppings into manure
3) Made enough Mash to last a very long time
4)Made sure I had at least 2000 units of straw ( needed for manure).
5) Did all foal games with any foals to completion.

Apart from this I just tried to hoard as much equus as possible.

All of this is pure speculation with nothing official.

why would you want to do foal games?

AGBlank
They'll change since the box and meadows are being removed. It doesn't affect me very much though, I usually have showers for my foals so don't need them anyway.

Okay Cyber
Another question. I know right now we only need the 2* tack for prestige and that it will change to 3* tack soon. But what about the polo wraps, ear bonnets and saddle pads? Will they eventually be turned into 2* for prestige? Will we be able to craft 2* extras?

Debating on buying a whole bunch of 1* pads and such, but don't want to if we are going to be crafting 2* stuff.

Equestrian center prestige

These changes will take place towards the end of March
daphnealaurels
Water troughs and 3*** equipment will be taken into account when calculating equestrian center prestige.

As is already the case with showers, water troughs are taken into account in the equestrian center comfort rating. You need one per box in order to receive the highest prestige value. So head to your workshop and get to work!
3*** equipment provides the best prestige value; 2** equipment is no longer sufficient. So head to your workshop and get to work!

Draft horses

These new features will be released in May
trait
Two draft horse breeds are added to the game!

Draft horse breeds work in the same manner as donkeys, meaning they can breed three times in their lifetime.
They behave the same as other horses (BLUP, competitions, training...).
Mission earnings are twice the earnings of a regular horse: they earn twice as many skill points, twice as many Equus and bring twice as many resources or Equus to the equestrian center.
Players can submit creations for draught horses in the creative space.

What's next?

The equestrian center overhaul is almost done!

We will make the final adjustments as we go.

Stay tuned...

Cyber, did I read that right? Are we going to need straw to make manure now instead of just droppings?

It is a summary of all the new features.

Craft what you need

atelierpetitGather resources and craft what you need using the workshops in your equestrian center. Purchase, sell and send items to the store in order to earn Equus.
Resources

New resources have appeared in game:

iron ressourcefer, sand ressourcesable and wood ressourcebois can be obtained from missions depending on where your equestrian center is located (mountain, beach, forest).
leather ressourcecuir is obtained from raising cows.

These new resources, combined with the resources already available in game, will allow you craft what you need and can also be sold for Equus.

A few examples: leather and iron can be used to craft saddles, bridles, bells...; flax can be used to craft saddle cloths, polo wraps...

Tip: for a period of 30 days, you can change your equestrian center location as often as you want in order to test the various options available to you.
Workshops

All these items are crafted in workshops/ You just received a small workshop to help you get started. If you want more or larger workshops, you can purchase or build them.

The higher your prestige, the more workshops you can have running at the same time, up to a maximum of 5.

The bigger the workshops, the more items you can craft simultaneously.

Tip:

from now on, mashes and fertilizer are crafted in your workshop and not on the meadows page.
if you cancel a production, the resources spent are lost.

Purchasing, selling, speculating

Crafted items can either be used to fill the needs of your equestrian center or horses, or sold on the market.

The price for manufactured items depends on supply and demand. Depending on when an item is put up for sale, its price will fluctuate. The higher the price, the more attractive it is to sell. The lower the price, the more attractive it is to purchase.

You will have to purchase raw materials from the store if you cannot gather them, or purchase the finished product directly. For instance, if your equestrian center is located in the forest, the store will help you obtain sand, which you will need to build boxes. You can also decide to purchase a box that is ready for use. This last option is more expensive, but faster. You decide what's best for you!

What are missions?

leconMissions are interesting both for the equestrian center and for your horses

The way lessons work has changed: when a horse is 2 years old, they can undertake missions, which are defined by the manager of the equestrian center where the horse is boarded. There are two kinds of missions:

lessons
operational missions

As an equestrian center manager:

Define the portion of lessons (earnings in Equus) versus operation missions (earnings in resources) that you want to see completed. Based on this ratio, your boarders will be able to undertake one or the other.
Play with this ratio depending on the number of boarders you have and how many missions they complete in order to avoid exceeding the resource exploitation limit.
Set your priorities and choose what matters most for you: money, resources, or a bit of both.
Increase the minimum skill requirements for your boarders in order to gather more resources.

All these settings are managed from the equestrian center office.

Tip: The default lesson versus operation mission ratio is 50%. If you prefer something else, you can change it in your equestrian center office
As a breeder:

You complete missions from your horse's page when they are boarded in an equestrian center
Your horse receives skill points in the two skills that they have the highest potential in
You earn Equus
The tip depends on the mission itself: Equus if it is a lesson, resources if it is an operation mission

The way this works is the same as before

Tip:the way Pixiu and Perle work remains unchanged and applies to all mission types.

How can I obtain leather?

ressourcecuirLeather is a new resource that is used mostly to craft saddles, bridles and bonuses for competitions.

Leather ressourcecuir can be obtained by raising cows in a meadow. The bigger the meadow, the more cows you can raise and the more leather you can get.

There are two types of cows that differ in quality. You can obtain more leather with Longhorn cows than with Braford cows.

Meadows used to raise cows count towards the maximum number of meadows you can use simultaneously. This means that you can now have 6 meadows where you can grow crops / raise cows at the same time.

You can also manage your meadows as you wish. For instance, you can have 6 meadows to raise cows simultaneously; in which case, you will not be able to grow crops on another meadow. Alternatively, you can, for instance, have two meadows with cows and four meadows with crops.

If your equestrian center is specialized in Western riding:

You receive leather when your calves are replaced. Their price has been slightly increased
Now, Braford calves increase cutting difficulty by 4 points (2 points before). If this type of calf is used in your cutting events, their number is divided by 2, rounded up.

How can you maintain your buildings?

serregrandeYour buildings wear out over time and you can repair them using resources

Which buildings are affected?

Boxes, which degrade by 1% per day when used
Workshops, which degrade by 1% per day whether or not they are used
Greenhouses, which degrade by 1% per day when used

They can be repaired when they reach 75% wear. When a building is completely worn, you cannot use it until you repair it.

In order to repair a building, you need resources. The number of resources you need depends on the level of wear, quality and enhancements added to the building. Repairing a large workshop with 80% wear costs more than repairing a small workshop with 20% wear. Also, repairing a box with a shower installed will require more resources than a box with no shower installed.

Tip: Boxes are no longer destroyed upon reaching 100% wear. Now, they are closed until you repair them. Closed boxes cannot house boarders and do not count towards equestrian center prestige.
Greenhouses

You can own as many greenhouses as you wish. They come in various sizes, like meadows, workshops and boxes. When used, they are considered to be growing crops and cannot be used to raise cows. This means you can have 6 simultaneously active greenhouses in the Winter, whereas in the past you could only have one.

They degrade when you use them and no longer have a fertility value attached to them.

Tip: greenhouse output does not depend on wear. They always produce the same yield.

What are the feed trough and water trough for?

augeThe trough and water trough are enhancements for your buildings

The Feed trough auge can be added to a meadow and increases its leather yield by 30%.
The Water trough abreuvoir can be added to boxes and multiplies the amount of energy and morale received when a horse is watered by 4.

They can be crafted in your workshops or purchased from the store. Take a look and decide what the best option is for you!

For now, adding water troughs in boxes does not impact the prestige of the equestrian center, which allows you to acquire them gradually. Later on, water troughs will be taken into account when calculating box prestige.

Tips:

Howrse is upgrading! Your scarecrows are now tractors tracteur. They improve crop yield by 50%.
All these improvements can be sold to the store, including showers and tractors.
The water trough bonus also applies to the fountain.

Employees improve your equestrian center

maraicherEmployees make your life easier and improve the efficiency of your equestrian center.

The secret market is completely removed. The items that used to be sold there can now be crafted or purchased from the store.

A new feature is added to increase the performance of your equestrian centers: employees.

Employees are available through contracts; 1-month contracts that can be purchased at the price of 1 pass or 10 diamonds. There are 11 types of employees that impact various aspects of your equestrian center in order to make your life easier, improve your yields or lower your expenses. For instance, a trainer allows you to not include the competition with the lowest prestige value in competition prestige calculation. The market gardener increases greenhouse yields by 20%. The saddler decreases leather consumption by 25% when crafting items that require it.

You can have all types of employees active at the same time in your equestrian center. If you receive several contracts for the same employee, their durations stack. Employees become active as soon as their contracts are purchased.

In order to allow you to discover employees and experience the bonuses they provide, they will travel around in UFO's for a couple of weeks, appearing on various pages at random. Catch them, and you will receive a 5-day contract immediately! UFO's also carry all sorts of items for equestrian centers: troughs, water troughs, tractors, iron, sand, leather...

Some change for the Feed, Put in the meadow and Put in the box actions!

The actions “Put in the box” and “Put in the meadow” have been removed and the bonuses they provided have been assigned to other features.
Why is that?

actions where you can choose the duration with a drop-down menu can become tedious
if you are in a rush or have lots of horses to manage, you will appreciate the time you save
It is possible to take advantage of the meadow and box different, they remain essential for your horse's well being.
this allows you to manage horse food with a single action and avoid some weight issues

Feeding your horse

Feeding your horse is done using only the feed action. This action will give more energy than before.

The prestige value of the meadows owned by the equestrian center in which your horse is boarded gives you a share of fodder for free. If fodder is provided by the equestrian center, the fodder taken from the meadows will not be taken from storage.

Seasons also define how much free fodder you can get: for instance, you will receive more fodder for free in the spring than in the winter.

curseurThe food sliders are the only method available now, so that you can see how much food will be taken from your inventory and how much will be provided by the equestrian center, be it from meadows or from storage.

Tip: you can still use the drop-down menu to set the duration of rides, training, etc
Bonuses and treats

Bonuses (comb, hoof pick and tub of grease) can bow be found by completing missions.

Treats (carrot, apple, sugar) and setting a horse to pasture with other horses are now tied to the feed your horses action.
Bedding

The type of bedding available in the box now affects the energy loss experienced by a mare when giving birth. Your mare will lose less energy with flax bedding than with straw bedding.
Divine horses

Longma, Opal and Quartz have been changed slightly in order to adapt to these changes. If you have them, we invite you to read their new descriptions. The prizes they give remain unchanged.

I think I'll ditch my manure trophies and make 9k manure~ My trophies will resolve themselves.
Or not. Maybe I'll just wait~ Sometimes change is best when you /don't/ prepare for it; which is more fun, studying the building plans for a roller coaster or strapping yourself in and taking the plunge?

I followed the advice and dropped the manure trophy and made as much fertilizer and manure I could, seeing that the wheat growing season just opened today and we will be needing the straw to make manure after the update. Trying to ease the financial pinch as much as possible

The Int is my main server but I feel a stronger attachment to this one. Too much drama on the Int and trying to find anything that is important without sifting through multiple"other things" is quite an exercise.

This spoiler thread is probably the most active with things that matter with the least amount of clutter.default smiley (y)default smiley :)
