So make sure you have the horse bolded before given them tack. My question regarding this is. . . what is this 'temperament' stat that I am seeing there? 'Loyal'? Is there any indication that can change I wonder, and what will happen if it can? I wonder if they are bringing back the old perk that the Sleipnirs had back in the day, that would be interesting.

I see your point of view, now, Wolfheart. It does sound like fun. I mainly just do my own unicorn breeding, though. I've given up, on the gp race, with Tekes. I used to breed competitively, but, solo. The annoying thing about teams, is that it leaves the solo breeders in the dust. At least, I can't get anywhere.

Back on subject, I see the reason, why Altairs can't compete in the Prix. Because they'd stomp every horse on the planet! That would be crazy, though. Only Altairs would EVER win ANYthing, in the Prix.

Right now, it's not a promo people are talking about. Altair is a new "Legendary" horse. More info is on the last page. I think, the "Altair promo" is the GC. Not sure, though.

I'm curious- can you hold on to the legendary tack until you want to use it or does it have an expiration date (by the end of the gc, etc)? Or is that not known yet?

It goes into your inventory like all other tack. No expiration date.

Not a clue. I think they're still trying figure that out, but so far I have nothing on it.

Is each piece of tack specific to one Legendary horse, or can it be saved for a different one later on?

Each piece of tack, currently, is for Altair. You have to collect all the pieces of tack, before the horse can transform. You can save the tack for later, though.
How it works, is, you get tack articles, in the GC, or, the Fleece. You can save them, for as long as you want. You can have already put some tack on the horse you want, or, you can wait, until you get it all. When you put all the pieces of tack on a normal horse, the horse will "transform" into Altair. The gp will stay the same, but, the skills will double.
Just, keep this in mind:
1. The horse will lose any items it has on it - but gain/keep a Philosopher's Stone *all other items are lost and can not be recovered*
2. A stallion with any unnacepted covering offers will have those coverings cancelled
3. If you are using a mare, who is pregnant, she WILL lose the foal
4. Your horse's skills will double
5. The horse's birthdate will change to the date of transformation
6. The breeder's name will change to your name (assuming you didn't breed the horse)
7. The affix the horse has will be lost, but, you can put your own on

If we turn a horse with a bonus pack and horsehoe studs on, will it lose all of those bonuses and BMI's?

It loses all the bmis.

But the P. Stone. If it has one, it keeps it. If it doesn't, it gets one.

Initially it loses all bonuses but you are able to reapply all normal bonuses.

If we turn a horse into a legendary horse, will the GP and/or skills stay the same, or will it change?
I'm trying to figure out which horse ahead of time that I want to change if I get one. If it's skills or GP is based of the horse's skills or GP I want to choose one of my horses that has a high GP and skills.

Screenshots have shown that nothing happens to the GP, it stays the exact same. The skills however double, and from what it sounds like you are unable to influence skills after that, meaning no training, rides, lessons gain ect.
