On 8 September we will celebrate 10 years of Equideow and thus 10 years of Owlient. On this occasion we wanted to offer you a special little contest that will last all day.

The purpose of this contest is to find 10 candles that are scattered about the game If you find the candles, you receive a special gift (click on it on the contest page to receive it!). Vintage Apple effect Guaranteed nostalgia for old!

Vintage Apple allows you to customize a horse with old dresses of the game (those that predate the current, previous dresses can not be used because they can not fit into the bottom of the game). The old graphics, not the old Golden Apples!

Warning: any horse carrying this object can not be sold!

This object:
• Not available with pass
• CAN NOT be exchanged at the exchange scholarship
• can be given via custom UFOs on the record player subscribers account Pegasus / VIP
• can be given to horses from 18 months
• can be given to riding horses, ponies, pegasus, unicorns, winged unicorns, donkeys
• therefore can not be given to draft horses and the divine horses, wild and legendary
• can not be combined with other special dress objects (it overwrites the previous object)
• is consistent with the radius of Helios
• Vintage Apple brings a bonus of 5 in each skill of the horse

The dress is selected on the same principle as the dresses of the Golden Apple: We offer all compatible dresses with the species of the horse, and you choose the one you want from this selection.

A horse of a certain species can not therefore receive a dress for another species. As against the dress family has no material: a massive sports family horse may very well receive a light sports family dress for example.

When given the blood of Medusa to a horse wearing such a dress, the image of the dress fits over the new species of the horse (version with wings) on the same principle as dresses 5é element. Similarly when removing the wings or the horn of a horse to the goal of a contest. As for other special dresses, facilities are not visible on the image of a horse wearing a dress Vintage apple.

Vintage Apple
Customize your horse with one of the original coats from the game!
A horse with one of these coats can no longer be sold.
This item will give the horse the following bonuses:
Stamina: +5
Speed: +5
Dressage: +5
Gallop: +5
Trot: +5
Jumping: +5
The Vintage Apple can only be used on adult horses, and special coats are not transferred to foals.
Vintage Apples cannot be used in conjunction with another special coat. If you give your horse a Golden Apple and then a Vintage Apple, your horse will lose their Golden Apple.
Draft horses cannot use this item.

Just out of curiosity, what's the chances of winning one of these? Is it possible to win more than one? It says they can't be bought with passes, so unless we win it, we won't be able to get it? Will it go into our inventory or does it need to be applied immediately?

If you log on Sept 8 your chance is about 100% in getting one. It goes in your inventory and you can use it whenever you wish

You are only allowed one however if a player puts one up as a UFO you can get another

i wouldn't imagine players giving them away if you can only win one.... is there any other way to get another one??
could you bring it up to Howrse that we'd like a chance to win multiples if possible, even if we cant ever sell them? i really like the old gv and mustang look! default smiley (y)

If a player decides to use one as a player UFO then you could get another one. No other way though.


For those players that complain that non pass holders get nothing free, well here is your chance to do exactly that. No passes/equs or purchase of anything involved at all.

I was reading a few pages back, and some players were predicting that it would cost about 75 passes to get Amira.

I feel like it shouldn't take as much, though. I think I'll be able to finish about three of the maps without passes, and then spend maybe twenty passes getting to the end. Am I wrong (the maps get harder at the end, my perception is incorrect, etc) or was I reading outdated information?

To add to that, if you decided to get a fjord coat with VA, wouldn't kind-be a waste unless you where trying to get a certain color?
