Winter is already in the Christmas promo. So why release him before?

Does anyone know the range of passes it will cost to buy 1 Zodiac Horse?

Since they are going to use HOPs which are very cheap it tells me they will be divines that don't give you the really good perks. So that throws out the Rainbows( diamond producing divines in HOPs is very unlikely). We were told they are male so that throws out any female ones in your list. We have had the "last chance reserve" thing for the Chinese so they are out.

Midas could be a possibility. But since they just recently released two Seasonal ones( in the GF) it makes more sense to release the last two. And who said that just because Winter may be in a package that it could not be released individually.

Now I can get Balios for the Christmas Promo, and not get Winter. That is if you are correct, Cyberhorse. Not doubting you, but of course there is a chance of being wrong. Another Midas would be VERY nice. Or maybe 5 more!

So far it looks VERY confusing ( more than the World Championships) and there are events within events with two main ones and one starts 10 days after the other. I really am holding my breath on this one as I had some idea before I signed on to prepod and it is/will be very confusing at first. I will do what I did for the WC and write out some basic beginning instructions.

I just know that many will not read them though..

The Christmas contest has 2 parts.

Part One: Advent Calendar
The Calendar begins the 1st of December and finishes the 24th.

► Click on the box of the day to win the gift it contains.

► The gifts are given randomly each day. There is a special gift the 24th that is the same for everybody.

► On Sundays and the 24th, there is a small chance that you will win a Divine horse instead of the day's gift.

► You can win decorations for the Christmas trees that will be useful for part 2 of the contest.

Hello again everyone!

As previously mentioned, the Christmas Contest has two parts.

Part two: Decorating Christmas trees
This event begins 10 days after the beginning of the Advent Calendar.

The objective is to search for Christmas trees with your horses and come back to decorate them. When you decorate a tree, you receive a gift.

There are different forests and different trees that give different gifts. You can have 3 rides on the way at the same time.

Collect trees

Horses

You have to choose 2 horses to bring back a Christmas tree. You cannot look after them or sell them when they are on their way to bring a tree back.

The characteristics of the horses determines the time it will take to bring back the tree.

Forest

There are several types of forests. Some are far away and others are nearer: that will determine the time your horses will take to bring back trees. The trees available in each forest will offer you different gifts.

The divine forest becomes accessible when you have decorated 15 trees or you can wait for 25th December when it will become available for everybody.

Christmas trees

When you have chosen the forest you can choose the tree you want to bring back, considering the decorations it requests.

► Then you send your horses that will bring back the tree in the allotted time.
You can avoid the wait by paying passes (or diamonds) to get your horses back immediately with the tree.

Decorate the trees

There are 3 kinds of decorations that can be won in several ways (described on the contest page).

► You have to put the requested decorations on the tree. When a tree has all the requested decorations, you receive a gift. The divine forest trees give a divine horse.

Community Tree

At a certain time during the contest, there will be a common Christmas tree. Every player can give decorations to this tree.

The first community who is able to complete their tree will see a UFO launch on its version, until the end of the contest. Those UFOs will be decorations for Christmas trees. This is only for the fastest one, so you must be quick!

The number of decorations requested depends on the number of active players on the version.

Principle
The regular UFO have been replaced by snowballs containing gifts.
These gifts come in twos which allows you to offer the second one to your friends. For that simply throw them the snowball!

Throw Snowballs
You can only throw a snowball to players who received less than 15 in the last 7 days.
I want to throw a snowball containing:

So once you have collected your trees this is what you will see. You have just clicked on one of the Hers pack picture tree in that line on the bottom and that tree with the 0/28 shows up.Beside that tree you just see the bottom of what looks like a wooden pot. Above that are shelves with decorations on them. So like the candies we just did you drag the decoration to the tree and drop it there. Once that tree has had enough of that particular decoration it will disappear and you go to the other two pots and do the same. One you have all 28 decorations on the tree you click on another tree from the row on the bottom and do the same.

One you have done this 15 times you will be able to send your horses to the forest and go for the Divine forest.

So when you get to the divine forest you will see the blue sign post showing this is the divine journey. You can clearly see the other sign posts with the word "go". Just click the go and the journey you select will send your horses to that location.

Just so you know that if a decoration is not highlighted you don't need it for that tree. Each tree requires different decorations and different amounts. Once you have given sufficient number it greys out. NOTE that this is like the Halloween in that there are rare decorations and not so rare. Here is what a shelf looks like.
