i think if u save all your decorations til the end or get super lucky with Hops u can do it in 36 ...(thats 30 for decor and 6 to bring back immediately)

Well we ALL complained about this and got this answer.

L.Aries- That is true, I've forgot about all the decorations we'll be earning till that point. Surely, I'll have enough passes/HoP's/diamonds.

Well, Balios is extremely valuable. I'd be shocked if he were as cheap as 30 passes. He gives out Nyx Packs, after all. Even if he costs an estimated 60 passes to win, he more than makes up for it within a single year. If you're an avid player who often buys BMIs, he's worth it in the long run. It's the immediate cost that's the downside.

But, of course, this game is a business. Getting something for nothing is highly unlikely. That's not greed. It's simply the nature of a business. They have to make a living, too.

Where can I get a Balios for less than 100 passes.

Certainly not in the sales.

I I buy one in the sales I will get Nyx once every 4 month or 3 per year and I will pay around 100 passes. If I win one I will get 12 Nyx and maybe pay 50 passes.

So the promo still holds a better return.

How many passes do you think it would take to get Frost?

I understand exactly how valuable Balios is. The only reason I said I found it greedy was because they figured out many people were going to go after Balios, so they're all like nope can't have that happen. I'm not at all angry or expect to be "given" Balios I simply want to be prepared. I most certainly don't want to spend about 40-50 passes/HoPs/diamonds to still miss out on it. I'm sure many people have had that gut-wrenching feeling of just missing out. If I buy passes or somehow acquire enough then my tune will change, and that is my opinion. Howrse can do what it likes that's for sure and I may be wrong in what I said at the beginning of this but it's only my opinion. I've been around awhile, I'm very aware this sort of thing happens.

But anyway a Balios is in a promo how awesome is that!

This will always be the gamble. Howrse will always make the valuable things just out of reach unless you are very lucky or willing to do whatever it takes.

I consider it my job to not just test the promos but suggest to the Admins where they are shooting themselves in the foot. Sometimes they listen sometimes they don't. I also consider it my duty to inform the players what is happening. I can't change anyone's opinion, just inform.

I believe with the complaints we made that they will somehow adjust the availability of the very rare items and how they do it is up to them. I have my thoughts on this though.

I personally am aiming for 5 divines from all the Christmas promos.

I want the builder one, Balios, Croesus, Greyfell and the new Fall and I am going to do whatever it takes this Christmas.

I really want a Balios and if I have my way I most certainly will have it and hopefully a Greyfell too. Hopefully they will tweak it a bit. I always appreciate the information you give us and more times than none I'd say most people probably rely on the information/advice you do give. I certainly do.

I do think they're being greedy about balios too. Not in a how dare they ask for my money kind of way. Not in the slightest. Howrse does have to pay it's bills. But in the way they're doing this. I don't think the people of howrse are dumb by any means. They really ought to have known that balios would have been the most popular thing.. Tey should have known that would be the divine most people would go for. It's this well it's just like other divines but slightly harder. Then it's slightly slightly harder. Then it's rare and ultra rare decorations only. Just throw it out there as rare at the beginning and I wouldn't mind as much

I'm hoping to get the builder one, the new Fala and the new Balios. I'm tight on funds this year so will to pick and choose.

I'm hoping to get either Frost or a Falabella, I probably won't but still...

If I was to try for a Divine, I'd probably go for Snow and hope Mist comes out soon. I'd love to start my own bloodline of the water Divines.

I thought that I could get away with asking my parents for around 20 passes this Christmas and still get Balios. My parents aren't into spending money for pixel horses so that looks like that wont be an option now.

A few pages back someone posted that the ornaments one needed for balios has changed to make it more difficult. Has this happened for any of the other divines? (Sorry for not using spoilers I don't know how to use them)
