There are flash sales for the cards promo coming up.
To know how much E you'll have to save if you don't want to use passes, here is what the ranges for the cards are.
*NOTE* You can only buy 1 card from each type of sale (direct and auction) every 2 days so choose wisely!*END NOTE*
Diamond Card in Direct sales: 1,160,000e
Gold Card in Direct Sales: 152,909e
Silver Card in Direct Sales: 76,455
Bronze Card in Direct Sales: 25,485
I cannot give an accurate description of auction'ed cards, as there aren't enough players on pre-prod to predict how that would translate over here.
I do not advice wasting passes and equus on card packs or bronze and silver cards in the first few days as you will get plenty of them through the promo. If you can have patience (i know it's hard for me too) and wait, you will be able to get all the bronze and silver cards during the promo.
*NOTE* Taurus IS available in flash sales. Only 20 "copies" of him will be given out. I have yet to see him in the sales so I'm not sure how much he goes for, but I assume more than a Diamond card. *END NOTE*

We got the card pack offers today (pack of 4 cards for one pass only. Each pack contains 2 bronze cards (amongst which at least one of the cards you don't have yet) and 2 rarer cards!)

Up to this point I spent 29 passes and 24(?) freebie cards and I was only missing 8 cards, 3 of which were diamond puzzle cards. Here are some stats for the card packs I bought that includes the passes I spent in a single purchase and the card rarities I got with that purchase.

3passes= 6 bronze, 3 silver, 2 gold, 1 diamond
3 passes= 6 bronze, 4 silver, 2 gold
1 pass= 2 bronze, 2 silver
2 passes= 4 bronze, 3 silver, 1 gold
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold, 1 diamond
1 pass= 2 bronze, 2 silver
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 2 gold
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold, 1 diamond

Since these are just questions, I don't think they belong in spoilers...Their answers might.
Does anybody have Ra yet? I checked the directories and not even Ow has it. All the Egyptian horses have been released, right? When a set must be complete to get a divine, does the divine come much later? I really want to see what Ra will look like and what he'll give. default smiley *-) Thanks to the Kane chronicles I really like Egyptian mythology default smiley (lol)

The Egyptian set hasn't been completed. We still need five more. If you go to the directories and click on the little box talking about the Egyptian set it lists 11 total, so that's 5 more and Ra.

I can't read the hieroglyphics so I can't tell you which ones they are, though I have heard that Bastet, Amun and possible Seth(?) are in the set.

The main Egyptian gods are:
1. Amun King of the gods
2. Anubis God of dead
3. Bast /Bastet Cat goddess
4. Horus God of war, sky, and falcons. He is the son of Osiris and Isis
5. Isis Goddess of magic, marriage, healing, and perfection. She is the wife and sister of Osiris and the mother of Horus.
6. Osiris God of the underworld and the afterlife Husband and brother of Isis, Brother and mortal enemy to Seth, Father to Horus
7. Ra God of the Sun Ra was king of the gods until Osiris took over his throne. He is also known as Amun-Ra and Akmun-Rah
8. Seth God of chaos/change, deserts, storms, foreigners Mortal enemy and brother to Osiris, Husband to Nephthys. He killed his brother Osiris because of jealousy. No one can really describe what he is. He is a human hybrid, half human mixed with an unknown creature. It is sometimes called the set animal
9. Thoth scribe god, god of wisdom Also known as Djehuti

Missing from this list amongst the current divines are 1, 3, 7 and 8, we also have two others. I'm not sure who they are.

Just as one last thing, Osiris and Isis are responsible for the rise and fall of the Nile, just as Demeter and Persephone are responsible for the seasons in Greek myth. I love mythology and one of the things that makes me very curious about it is how many different cultures have variations on the same idea.

Basic story is Osiris was killed by Seth and Isis cried, overflowing the banks of the Nile. Then he was somehow returned to her and the river returned to it's normal flow. The ancient Egyptians believed this conflict to be never ending which explained the seasonal ebb and flow of the Nile, which was commonly believed to be the 'waterway of the gods'.
