15 to 20 passes is pretty common to win the divine in these promos. Get 10 pass horses this month and 10 next month and you should be more than set (assuming you figure out the costs before you spend passes and spend them smartly - if you don't do this it can easily cost 50 passes for many promos and I think this is one of them. You will really want to wait for the special offers on the weekends to get it as cheaply as 20 passes)

I have certainly spent more on other promos and as previously stated, spend smart and you can minimize your spending.

I am just pleased that in the next and one after promo you can potentially get two divines for one.

Oh well, at least I can save for the Double-Headed M_______. I already have 3 passes and 495.5k equus to get them, so at least I'll have something nice from the promo.

Every promo has some sort of special offer that allows you to get what you need for cheaper. Sometimes (like with the potions promo we just had) you want to use a combination of that special offer and the regular means that are always available.

If you look at the wandering horses promo right now you will see a little area on the top bar that says something about pollen packs being available for this weekend. The pollen packs are the special offer for the wanderers. Click on the link and you will see you can get 6 of each color of pollen (that is 30 in total) for just 1 pass. Then go look at the cost of say red pollen all by itself (go to one of the wanderers and click on the little "+" sign next to the part on it's popup that talks about pollen and you will see how much pollen costs normally. Yellow is the most expensive, blue I think is the cheapest.

The special offers are generally only available on the weekends and usually not every weekend. It is often every other weekend or the 2nd and then the last weekend of the promo. Read the spoiler threads about the upcoming promo and they will tell you what is the special offer it is also called a "pack" of some sort.

For this current promo, I have spent 6 passes on pollen packs and I had a bunch of older horses all ready and I had been collecting HoPs through exchange and stroking Xanthos' and I also had a collection of Medusa's Blood from exchanges and thus I am going to be able to complete this one with only spending 6 passes (though it is going to take pretty much my entire stock of HoPs).

So, reading the spoilers will tell you what is coming and then you can make plans and stockpile things needed accordingly.

Calculations of how much it will cost will probably come later when the promo is closer or has perhaps even just started. Some people do share these. Many tips are shared in the spoiler forum, so keep reading here. You will still need 15-20 passes though for a promo like this one coming up even with doing all this.

I think I'll take your advice and spend passes on the special offer weekend

From what is given as info from the french test server they are calculating the pass expectation to be in the range I posted from last year.

So we do have the opportunity to save 20 passes with using our pass horses, free pass and the special offer usually allows the use of diamonds so to me the H__P__C__ promo is very doable without buying a pass.

This is a plan and be patient type of promo.

I hope so. It's jUst so hard for me to get passes. I have five right now, but I figured I wanted to get as many of the new BMI as possible. So, I'm debating Weber I should try for A____ or get three medallions... I guess I'll wait until I get there, and see how many passes I have, then go from there.

15-20 passes is actually the lower end of the promo price range. I may aim for this one, just because I like the Divine offered and the perk of it is fairly nice though I have the full set of that particular item already.

I could have done the wandering horses with only 16 passes but chose not to. I am hoping for word on the Christmas promo by the time that particular promo launches to decide where to focus my attention on.

Me too, I think what I will do is go for Apophis, and if I have passes left, I will buy a couple medallions. The reason is Apophis is a one time chance, but I'm positive there will be more opportunities to get medallions.

In case anyone wonders how often the Egyptians trigger their top perk, it appears to be approx every 3 months. The first release seems to come about 2-3 weeks after attaining it, then about every 3 months after.

I have all Egyptians and they all seem about the same.

Once in three months is not that much, but then again, I really want an Egyptian Divine...I think i'll still be going for Apophis, he looks so cool
