So what are the prizes for 1-3?

I know maze 4 is the Knight's ear bonnet, but I can only tell the GA from the pics you posted.

Also Cyberhorse... are you our only tester around here now? You seem to be the only one posting about spoilers lately, so I'm curious.

I get on and test some, but I think he tests INT so he gets it earlier. I'd just rather not post if I know he's getting them earlier / easier.

Little disappointed by 2 and 3, but oh well. Being part of the knight gear, it makes sense they'd bring them back. I wonder if this means this is all of the knight's gear that will be released, or if we'll get a bridle and/or wraps in the future...

I'm not at all excited about this promo. I wouldn't say it's hard work but the grand prizes seem disappointing, and there's several portions where you'd have to actively go out of your way to get the decent prizes / fragments. However, it's intuitive and the graphics are some of the best I've seen in promos for awhile.

Yes I am on International so get to the main testing site about 1 week earlier than when the regional test sites open. Not sure if I am the only one on International but I try to get the information here as soon as I log on.

I have a question about Pendragon.
You see it doesn't say how many points he needs to bring the gift. Drakorn needs 2,700 points to bring the gift. At 10 points for a win or a tie That's a long time to get to that number. Or do they vary the amount of points needed to activate, like the Nordic and the plant divines?

They do vary and I believe it is more than 2,000 points but not sure.

No, Cyber isn't the only tester. However, they put in enough information to cover anything I and probably any other tester's discoveries.

Err... I'm having extreme mixed feelings about that divine... that definitely land on the more negative side of things, and that's coming from someone who has pretty much loved every Japanese divine to date.

Click to display
Also, not happy at all that they're already introducing *another* tack set as they seem virtually useless... As the fact that two pieces are offered in chests which I also dislike. However, I do love the design of that bonnet.

I also think the theme is rather interesting. Definitely not horse related, but I mean it IS interesting... and it um, matches the divine...

Please, please, please just give us actual kami. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one unhappy with what this series is.

Also another promo I'm not fond of but feel obligated to play because otherwise I fall behind

I see several people who don't like Japanese horses, so you're not alone there. The way I look at it: We have SO many divine series that are specific to legend. Egyptian myths, Celtic myth, Chinese legend, Arthurian legends now, and even several known myth based divines. Not to mention some of the wanderer coat lines that are myth/historic based.

I imagine given the history and elaborate understanding of kami, it would be rather difficult to truly create a line of horses that would make people happy.

Personally, I am extremely happy to see a line that is something *besides* myths, and instead focuses on the entirety of the culture and traditions. I really like the Japanese culture, and always love learning more, so it has been nice to see. Yokai in particular is one of my favorite divines in-game, and actually one of my all-time favorite of any of Howrse's designs. (Also one of my favorite subjects of Japanese culture/folklore.) Would I have minded horses based on gods or legends? Not really, but I much prefer what they're doing and enjoy the creative liberties that can be taken with this approach.

Yes, some of them are a bit...questionable, to say the least...but there's always going to be at least 1-2 in every line that don't appeal as well as the others.

That said, given that the line is based on traditions, I do hope that we see at least *one* kami show up at some point.

The sushi horse is definitely interesting. Not one of my favorites, but it does give a nice item that is very useful. I'm not really big into getting divines. It is a very cute, foody coat though.

The way I see it: Divines are supposed to be divine. Myths and legends. We didn't get ancient Egyptian culture, or Nordic culture, or Celtic culture, any of which would have been way, way more interesting (they're "dead" cultures), but we got their Divines instead. Their gods. And I'm ok with that - they're divine after all.

Admittedly, I'm trying to work toward moving to Japan, so I could be a bit skewed here.

I am so bored of the skin colored "divines"! Does howrse even remember what "divine" means?? I remember when they used to be exciting and worth getting. Randomly getting Cascade ages ago has been far more exciting than any divine that's been released since I got him. They're just badly proportioned horses wearing weird costumes now. And really, ANOTHER Japanese divine?? I refuse to believe the artists themselves have much to actually do with the designs which is a shame since they have talents going to waste on this game.

Ah. That makes sense. For me, after seeing things such as the plants, seasons, gemstones, water, etc. of endless strange lines, I just consider a "divine" horse as [a set of] horses that's obtained as a special or limited in-game promotion, regardless of theme.

Am I missing the polos in the prize list image? I'm not seeing them either.
