It's not going to work for GAs... at least not at first. And I think they're allowing us to hide it if we want.

Okay, so do we know what all the new coats for each breed is going to look like? the only new graphics I can locate are the ones from the blog, and they honestly look like they are all the same breed. Likely TB and I am curious what the pony breeds are switching to.

I remember that that particular one in the blog was the Hanovarian. The thoroughbred is also different... and the PSH is the one on the front page. Oh, yes, they were changing the Quarter Horses too...default smiley :)

I don't remember them saying they were changing all the coats, I thought it was just for Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Hanoverians (and KWPNS, etc.) and PSH?

It was just the Hano, TB, QH, and PSH coats. No other breeds are getting a graphic change and no new breed are coming out. The one in the blog is the new Hano graphic.

You guys realize you don't have to buy at least 100 passes, right? I was reading through the whole topic and everyone was fussing that in order to get a VIP account, you need to buy 100 passes. For people that can't buy passes (Like myself.), you can be in the top 50 of one of these rankings: general ranking, number of trophies, number of rosettes won during the past month, breeding farm prestige, creations (creators and collectors). At least it would be cheaper! default smiley xd Maybe!

Howrse was always cross breeder friendly, it's just that not a lot of people do it. default smiley ;)

See, I am wondering if this is just a precursor to what is to come. From the sound of the original blog on the topic they were planning on re-working all the coats.

"So we are working on all the coats so that they are more realistic and really fit with the real appearance of each breed. And, you know, it is a long-term job, as we have several hundreds of coats to rework!"

'Hundreds of of coats' would be more than just 4 of them I would think. I will def. take that Hano graphic though! I hope they get released with the Ray change which I am betting (though not 100% certain on) will be with the release of the new GAs this month.

i think i would have to agree to disagree. i want:
VIP cross teams.
elite crosses in rankings
or notable crosses or notable cross affixes maybe even "popular affixes" for both pures and crosses.
better sorting for crosses, in public covers and sales.
and better representation of breeds in horses.

sad to hear the ideas forum is gone. and i hope something else is coming up and when this update will be. im hoping next month.

Well, I finally figured out how I got qualified for the VIP account! I was rank 35 in "Number of Rosettes Won this Month" which is what did it.
I can't wait to get those Wilds!!!!!!!

I personaly like having my center and personal reserve seprate, but I love all of the other changes!
