Wasn't one of the new features that we can't see divine comps in which we already have one divine registered in? I can still see them...

The updates will probably coincide with the day the new Black Pearl designs are released. I believe that day is the 26th of February.

I can hardly wait for the upgrades to see everything they have done and to get answers to the questions I've asked. I've looked on Photobucket and couldn't find any screen shots of the Unicorns or Pegasi, and I am really anxious to see them. I also want to see all the new coats that Howrse is releasing... and the expanded backgrounds that are being released. I don't collect Golden Apples at the extent that some of my friends do, but rather, I collect Helios Rays instead. I have pushing a hundred Helios Rays on my horses I think (Almost every immortal horse I have has one), and I really want to see how the old ones look when expanded. It may take me a while to grab all new ones because I have so many! The fact that howrse is letting us change them for free however will help me get rid of some duplicates I ended up with when I bought foundation horses... my biggest fear is though, with so many rays, I might end up with repeats anyway if not enough backgrounds are published or expanded.

I've still got one or two immortal horses that need backgrounds, and I am anxiously awaiting the release of the new designs before I put any on them.

I am unsure of when the Lottery starts however. The 26th is a Tuesday, and Howrse doesn't usually start promo's on Tuesdays. It'll probably be Monday when they start it, but then again, the 'mini promo' is running too so it could be Thursday. I'd be surprised if it is Thursday because Promo time is when most passes are spent, which is part of the reason why we get hit by them so frequently. The snowball fight is a passless promotional - just something fun to do beings it's winter, just like water balloons in summer and candy bags in October.

I have to admit, they are starting the Lottery earlier than normal this year. Normally, the lottery for this time of year starts in March to end in March (hence the clovers). This may be because, now correct me if i'm wrong, but Easter is early this year, falling in March instead of April and they wanted to get the Lottery that normally coincides with St Patrick's Day out of the way early, and do something concerning sweets like the bakery for Easter at the end of the month. If I'm not mistaken, normally we have the bakery and then the Lottery, but they may have switched them for the holidays.

Just my two cents on the promotionals and the shocks I read a few pages back about the missing bakery promotional. I do hope I get a divine this time though, but alas, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen and I'm still a happy camper.

Also, does anyone think we could get some upgrades to the foal coats? There are 4 or 5 basic designs for foal coats, for 26 or 27 breeds. It'd be nice to have something to differenciate some of the breeds besides coloring. Just an idea.

Yes, finishing the puzzles at 8am eastern is a bit strange. It gives some folks a better chance at finishing the promotionals (whatever stage they are on) and leaves people further out west at a disadvantage. It really isn't fair.

Actually, a better time to end the promotionals would be at the daily update time. The daily update time never changes no matter what time zone you are in, but midnight does change depending on your time zone. You also wouldn't have that finicky hang over time between the update time and the end of the promotional that puts some players at an advantage and others at a disadvantage.

They do have slight variations if you look really closely. For example the breeds that have the Hano graphic have longer noses.

Ah, i did notice the shorter legs on the shetlands using the similar graphic to the Akhal Tekes, but the rest all just look the same to me. I'm just suggesting bigger, noticeable differences depending on the adult graphic... but thank you for pointing that out e.

The next promo IS the lottery.

The snowball mini promo ends Sunday the 23 at 8 AM local time.

The lottery will most likely start on Monday the 24th at 8 AM in the morning ( local time)

Lottery was one of the first promos I ever had, on my old account (I accidentally restarted) and I loved it. You got a guaranteed something every time. I'm going on start saving my e again so I can buy tickets.
