I could just buy a bunch of baby Shetlands because they are soooo cute!

I make the decision for which horse I breed almost solely based on appearances...there are so many breeds, they all have their specialty...why not choose one you like to stare at? By no means do I have the passes to put new coats on all my horses, so I'd rather choose one that's easy on the eyes.

This forum is for releasing new info. All I hear nowadays is people complaining about the new coats. If you don't like it, deal, its not changing.

People are just stating what they think, there is nothing wrong with that. There's a big difference from a negative opinion and a complaint. A complaint is making that negative opinion be thrown at others in a condescending, sulky manner. A negative opinion is just a opinion not in favor of something.

Yes new coats are new info. Someone posts "Oooh, we got the new shetland today" and then everyone else posts "I HATE the new graphic! It has a weird, ugly face! I'm gonna stop breeding ti!" or something like that.

Dreamer, I came here because I had seen a post of the Freisian coat and was hoping to see that it was *not* the coat being released. I think it is too plain and not representatve of the breed. I offered my opinion on it. I was grateful to see that the original updated coat for the Paint had also been tweaked, as I did not like that one, either (although it was far better than the one that currently exists).

I don't agree with everyone else's opinion, either, but that does not mean that they're not entitled to express them. A glance at the forum will show that the coat discussion is still going strong. If you don't want to read the posts, you can always switch to a thread that interests you more.

Now I'm becoming the object of everyones complaints. I just wanted to say, that this is supposed to be a happy, fun, GAME.

I see what you mean. However, these still aren't complaints. They're just opinions which use quite a fair amount of coarse and immature language.

That's what I'm saying other people have been saying, When I threaded this topic, I was hoping for news on EC changes, visibkle tack, and people posting the upcoming coats. So now, I will unthread this topic.

People ( esp horse people) tend to get a little hot and heavy when it comes to discussing conformation and looks in real life and pixeled life.

I couldn't care less what they looked like unless they were cartooned as I didn't join Howrse for cartoon horses. They are to me a bunch of coding to represent what we are playing this game with. I have stayed out of the coat discussion because I don't care what they look like. To me whether they have short legs or long legs will do absolutely nothing as to whether they can be bred or compete.

The new stuff I am testing right now will have a hugly profound affect on EVERYONE's game play and I will continue to post any updates regarding them. Those that are interested in getting a head start on understanding the major multiple changes coming up and not just the tack as the VIP account is being adjusted along with a ton of other game changing things can follow any posts I ( or others ) may make.

Cremellos technically shouldn't have blue eyes in the first place. Then they would have to change the name of the coat to Albino, because Albino horses have pink or blue eyes. Albinos are a genetic defect so I doubt they'd have them on here. I never liked the blue eyes on the cremellos, they should have light or dark brown eyes.
