In real horses , dont white white/tobianos somtimes have blue eyes?

They do, PInk, but it's something a lot of paint breeders don't like, they call it a 'wall eye'. They used to think they were crazy due to the blue eyes. It's a genetic quirk that comes from the dark haired side, produces a different pigment than normal. On Paints I think it's gorgeous, but blue eyes in general on horses are considered by many to be a genetic defect.

Albino horses don't exist.
The Albino in other breeds is Cremello in horses.

Then how come the Albino is a listed color breed in most published horse encyclopedias?

Horses don't carry albinism. If a publication is saying they do then it's simply wrong. You can look this up to verify it.

Horses do carry a rare white gene, called dominant white. The dilute genes have absolutely nothing to do withe white or albinism and are not comparable.

Hmm, then I have read several publications over the years that are quite off. Thank you for the correction, Alchemically, I hadn't realizeddefault smiley (y) I don't just spout this stuff off you know, I am something of an encyclopedia of horses according to my family due to the amount of horse books I have devoured over the yearsdefault smiley (lol) Started at six and hasn't stopped yet, fiction, non-fiction, training, breeding, encyclopedias, you name it.

People have talked about the white rare albino gene and other things in the Equestrian forum- Favorite horse coats , we might be getting a bit off topic for this topicdefault smiley :s

We'll stop, PInk, it started with me mentioning the brown eyes bit for the Cremello as a reason why I was glad they changed that coat color. To get back on topic, the blue eyes always creeped me outdefault smiley (lol) And can I just say that I LOVE the Tekes? I'm working with a cross-bred Teke right now and I just love her new graphic!

one thought came to my mind...
if we're supposedly having tack on horses now, and I'm sure it won't show on Golden Apples, but what if you want your horse to be wearing it, but you'd need the golden apple for bonuses?
I mean if we got tack, i'd like to have it shown on my horse from time to time, but if it's a skiller, i'd also like to have the skill bonus.
I don't know if others would want the basic horse look with tack on their precious skillers, but it wouldn't look too bad since they have a shiny new look to them.

I like the adult coats especially the quarter horse/paint one. But I think the foal's coat doesn't look as great. Maybe it will grow on me.

I wonder when the paints are going to change. Also, are they changing all of the goals, too?
