These new coat graphics are going to help Howrse enjoy longevity, attract more money and enable Howrse continue to grow as a game. I'm all for the coats. If you don't particularly care for the appearance, switch to a breed that you do like or cover it up with a Golden Apple.

And yes, adults do care very much about their art just as much as the younger players/creators do. A lot of time and effort went into these works of art and even if the appearance isn't always to our tastes, we should always endeavor to respect the artist's efforts and time. If they didn't love these coats they would not have offered them to the game.

Wow to the drama. Could we please respect each others opinions and leave it at that instead of bashing each other. The creators want our opinions to make us happy, otherwise, do you really think they would have made the minute changes on the stock horse coats, or the major changes on the Gypsy coats?

Opinions are good and help artists grow, so long as they aren't rude. The most that i've seen is "I don't like such and such coat." or "such and such coat is ugly." that's not really being rude... maybe a little harsh, but not rude.

I myself have done a fair share of complaining on this topic, I will admit to that, and I'm not completely happy with the coats of the main horses I breed, I will admit, and I have stated my opinion several times. Howrse listened, and made a few changes.

Please remember, we live in the united states (most of us), and that is the land of free speech. It does not mean to forget our upbringings, but please, be respectful, stop jumping on each other for stating an opinion. I pretty much haven't looked at this thread too much since people started bashing others for their opinions. Let's try to be mature about this. Even online, life isn't all sugar, spice, cotton candy, sunshine, rainbows, puppies, kitties, and unicorns. So what, someone doesn't agree with you, grow up and move on to the next post. If you don't agree with the majority of what is said, post your thoughts on the subject without calling attention to the other posts. It's simple and easy to do.

The new coats, some of them I like, some of them I'm not a big fan of but they are growing on me, the more i look at the little details. I think some of us are seeing too much of the big picture and not enough of the details, which is fine. We are each entitled to our opinions, and the majority of the coats, I didn't like until I started noticing the nuances.

Criticism helps an artist grow, good or bad, so long as it's honest and respectful. I write and do photography, and i enjoy being critiqued. People tell me what they don't like about it, and I use that for improvement. We can't improve without someone disliking our work and telling us.

I just noticed that the coat trophies are still showing the old graphics, and the Highland Pony's is that of the old FT/TW....

The trophies have been showing the old graphics all along. I hadn't noticed the highland ponies, though - you're right! Probably some bugs as they switch everything to the new coats... I imagine it will be fixed soon.

Gandolf123 there is no rule in the forums stating that people cannot express their opinions. If you have a problem with people doing so, then why are you reading the forums? Just because you like the coat change doesn't mean other people do. If you like the coats please say "I love the coats!" People are allowed to dislike the coats. They can call them ugly, deformed, ect. and the designer wont care, because there are some people who like them. If people are being mean or rude, shrug it off, don't go posting rude things back. I am really sorry if I offended anyone, that was definatly not my intention. I am not trying to cause an argument, only trying to stop one. Thank you for reading.
