I don't understand the new tack.

If there is no variability in the quality of items available (not counting the Poseidon's Pack), then the new equipment provides no advantage or disadvantage for any horse wearing it, because every horse must be completely outfitted with the new items in order to compete in competitions. Therefore, the benefit of the new tack is already cancelled out by other players' tack, making the all of the new tack ultimately pointless.

In conclusion, the new tack is purely an aesthetic change not a functional change in this game, and it is one I could have done without. Unless Howrse releases more tack options or reduces the competition restrictions to only a saddle and bridle, then this fact of gameplay won't change and the new tack will remain as nothing more than a mandatory expense that provides the horse with no advantage over any other horse in the game.

I think horse should add the bronze apple, an apple to put designs on the new equipment such as patterns, flowers, swirls, stars, etc. It can't be put on divines, GAs, elements, and bewitched pumpkins though. What do you guys think?

An all season divine would have an icy head and neck(winter) and fall leaves on it's legs(fall) and a flaming mane and tail (summer) and like flowers or something on it's stomach! That's what I imagine. It would be so cool and everyone would love it.

Yeah! But people should be allowed to draw the patterns (example: someone draws a pattern and the owner of the horse can put that on the legs or something and put flowers and cool stuff on the rest of the body or something) People should be able to design their own patterns! It should be sold for e so nonpass buyers can have it, too!

They used to have an ideas topic on the INT server, but it was removed because it was not being used the way Howrse was wanting it to. I would imaging Howrse wouldn't bring it back so soon.
