Asgard came with Water Divines to choose from and 20 passes; Olympus came with ALL Divines to choose from, a Balios (or was it Greyfell? I can't even remember now), a lump sum of equus, and 80 passes.

By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 17:16:17
oops, not of, off.
Asgard came with a water divine of your choice.
Olympus came with a Greyfell and a divine of your choice.
(that's when that new Balios came out, the drought one)

It took me a year to persuade my mother.
It's supposed to start tomorrow, about 9 AM EST if the pattern maintains.
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 17:33:53

I would definitely buy that.
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 17:37:16

At least last time you could choose a Bailos. No idea how it will change when it finally comes out again though.

3 passes is still all i got i will never get a divinedefault smiley :(default smiley :(
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 18:17:42
Don't worry tacobell! You'll get one eventually default smiley ;)
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 18:22:18
Just think tacobell, if you stroke a Frost every month, you have a chance to win one at the beginning of the month, and a lot of the accounts on this server aren't active.
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 19:11:58
Ohhhh that sounds soo cool! I will certainly get one of those packs if they have them around christmas time!

The Little Lamb- I have noticed this server has less active accounts. I actually like that it is that way. The international server seems quite overwhelming, but having more people there still has its perks even though it is much harder to get started.

Wolfheart HOW did you convince your mom??? My mom doesn't even know I play Howrse and I don't spend any real money here at all ;x

Actually my mom knows I play this game, but she thinks it's a kiddie game where you chat with people who are obsessed with horses and take care of pet horses.
Not a competitive game where many people including adults spend a lot of money on...

sigh I wish I could buy passes. So many divines >.>

I'm planning to get two, maybe three solars and save up passes again for the next set of divines to come out.

My mom lets me buy passes. I tried to teach her this game and she was lost within minutes.default smiley xd

Niether does my mom. It is a huge secret from the family.default smiley :-x

I just told my mother that I wasn't going away from the game; that I was high in the rankings and very influential (which I consider influential=helps out in GP forum A LOT, which I tend to do sometimes); that I wanted to take my game to the next level; that I had an allowance and would be purchasing it myself; that all she had to do was take me to get a prepaid card... I also told her that if I could reach 400 in the rankings, I would be good enough to be able to get high without buying passes, but that I wanted to be really high and that would take passes. And I told her that I wanted a premium account. I ended up qualifying without passes, and hopefully will be able to keep it up, but she'd already said yes so I get to save whatever money I have to buy passes with ($15/month) and build up to a 100-pass pack, which I will not get but instead will get the Olympus pack, which should be up around that time. ^_^ Now all I have to do is get 10 passes a month until Christmas so I can do so...

And if you're wondering, I'm going for Caicias first. Then Lips. Then Apeliotes. Then Euronotus. After that... IDK

Whoo-hooo!!! I'm soooo excited about the Big Challenge!!!!default smiley :ddefault smiley :d
By Retired breeder, April 27, 2014 19:36:18

Me too
If you want to convince your parents to fund you on here (or fund yourself, which will probably be more agreeable to them!) then I suggest letting them know that you play Howrse and invite them to watch while you demonstrate what this game is all about. It's definitely not just a kiddy game. If all else fails, find some adults on here who are familiar with the game and ask them questions that you can show your parents. Might be worth a go! Best of luck. default smiley :-))

My mother actually hates this game with a passion. But I got through to her somehow... It might be the fact that I'm going to graduate in five weeks and she wants to do something special.
That's a shame. I don't see what there is to hate about this game - it's fairly educational, and teaches some financial responsibility and persistence, as much as a game can.

So, the Big Challenge starts tomorrow? I'll definitely be up bright and early to get a first look! default smiley :-))

Ouch. How in Gallifrey are you supposed to pick *1* divine from that?! *Facedesks*
I get a monthly allowance, that has been stopped recently...

come to think of it, once I get my credit card, it would help me build my credit.
spend $20 on here and then pay it off in a few days.
I might just have found my solution to building credit!

I'm excited for the Big Challenge. But I have school so I will have to get up early to look at it.
