Anyone know when the EC changes are coming? I heard a few months ago that it could be anywhere from a couple of months to a year or more, and just wanted to be prepared. Also, when are they merging the reserves? They've been talking about it for a bit now, and I just want to be prepared.

Well we are there to test whatever is coming up. I have been a tester for almost 2 years and it sure is nice to see 10 million equs along with 1000 passes sitting along the top of your page.

I ummmm "test" the passes regulary ( even if that isn't exacrly what we are supposed to be testing..default smiley :d ).

We do find glitches and report them but we also can converse with OW or whatever Admin is hosting that test.

I would like to state here that all the opinions both positive or negative that everyone has made ( on all servers) are mirrored on the test server. Ow does understand our concerns and sometimes changes were made based on what we say there. Not everything comes out in the direction we all wish but remember we are ordinary players just like you and have the sames opinions and feelings.

I can say that some things were discussed that is not mentioned anywhere and I got the feeling that they would be looked at ( the best OW could do anyways).

I personally think the big picture has not been revealed yet and is being worked on and input from these threads on the servers as well as our comments on the test server are being looked at and discussed as to viability.

Some ideas will just never fly...others have possibilities.

@ Cabchaser.

The last and only comment I have heard from Ow ( a few months ago) was "within a year" and it is possible the merging of the reserves may be launched all at the same time. This is just a guess thougt.

Something I would like to eventually see is rookie comps coming up as default if your horse has the skill requirement and less than 20 wins. Most of the time I just stick them in whatever comp is available because I'm too lazy to click the little box. default smiley (lol)

What if blueberry roan horses came to howrse? If you don't know of that color, it is a blue coat tinted with mouse grey. It looks really pretty. Hope it comes!

Cool, huh?
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 00:44:06
Trick- It is cool but howrse is trying to keep their normal coats realistic. That would be more of a GA coat...
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 00:48:13
Blue Mist it is a real coat

Jazz- I meant the name. It could use some fixing... default smiley (lol)

Ummm... The ciat's just called Blue Roan. I with they did have it though.

Did the donkey coats change?
When the International server still had their ideas forum there was a thread for bringing blue roan to Howrse. The developers said it was a possibility.

They should also have Brindle horses, now that would be interesting!
And horses with blue eyes... I'd do anything to have horses on here with blue eyes, without buying GA coats.

Cremello used to have blue eyes... Not sure now as I haven't checked any Cremello horses since the coat change.
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 03:44:18

Cremello's have blue eyes. default smiley (y)

Brindle is a genetic mutation in horses. It is not that something that can be bred for. Some of the Diamond Apple coats looked 'brindle-ish' However it is not something that can be bred for. Now I would love to see genetic color distribution. >.> Though I imagine with crossbreeds that would get to be a nightmares worth of coding, which is why it has not been done. We /ought/ to have more variations of Dun brought into the game if they are thinking of Blue Roan. Seal Dun, Apricot Dun. Sabino too would be gorgeous with the paints Overos.

But,, we can only hope. At least Donkey coats are getting a revamp too! Cannot wait for that.

Is it just Donkey colors, or is the whole coat being remade?

I have. At least quarters don't... my non-GA combo was ruined! (imagine her with blue eyes.) Also, Cremellos look more Palomino-ish then white. Are they like that in real life?

Star-

Yes, in real life, Cremellos are more of a golden child if you will. They are not stark white, its a cream color. Hence the name. It is kind of hard to explain, but if you google them, you will see that they are a creamy, more palomino-like than they are ghost white. default smiley :)

Oh wow, quarters don't have blue eyes... my PSH has blue (more teal) colored eyes...

Looks like Palomino~ But they are gorgeous. What breed is that?
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 17:40:19

it does look close to a palomino color, but they are more golden rather that a tan-yellow color. their mane and tail is also a golden color, rather that a milky or blonde shade.

I'm not positive on the breeds. I think the first may be a quarter horse (that's definitely a QH rear) I think the second is a crossbreed. the body looks sort of Akhal Teke-like but I'm almost positive that's an Andalusian head and neck.
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 18:43:10
WOW thats a very beautiful coloring on the horses
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 20:00:30
I know! pretty!
By Retired breeder, May 20, 2014 20:05:28
That golden champagne is beautiful!

It's still a pretty rare coat so I doubt howrse will introduce it.
I was just about to suggest a BMI that would be like the Diamond Apple, concerning the brindle/ genetic mutation coats, but that wouldn't work out at all.

and as for the blue eyes, I should have been more clear, I was thinking about having one blue one brown.

Buckskin is one of my favorites.
