It is also mentioned that what you talk about needs to be spoilers, meaning someone someplace found out something and they decided to share that information here. It should not be about what is "wanted" to come but about actual spoilers of what could be to come. There is a difference between a wish or a hope and a spoiler.

What we do not want this topic becoming is a sort of unofficial Ideas topic or a chatting topic about all things or events Howrse offers. It should only be to discuss or post things that have been found by yourself or others that could come to Howrse.

Once something is here on the site, it is no longer a spoiler as anyone can readily find it. The Wind Divines for example. Everyone on the site with access to the reserved sales can find them currently.

Hmmm.....Winters Vip perk is letting them search for horseshoe comps huh? The big challenge is definitely gearing up to VIP account holders. There will be no real purpose for anyone else to try to even participate. You won't be able to compete in the horseshoe comps after winter is released because they will be gone before anyone can even see them As it is now, I only can find 2 or 3 a day as it is.....so now why would I even try? It's going to make the big challenges take even longer to finish to start the festivities. I'm predicting it will get even older than it seems to have gotten for many folks. We will see I guess.

Anyone know what divines are next? Or what dates

For me I was already tired of the Big Challenge not to soon after it started. I was a VIP player for some time but after the last few disappointing updates I've stopped buying passes and just tried to enjoy what part of the game I could. I completely agree about this upcoming VIP perk it's putting other players at an extreme disadvantage...maybe this perk will be released to everyone else a little later after Winters release. Which I doubt, these updates/releases keep solidifying my reasons not to buy passes more and more.

AwesomeAussie did a great job explaining what this topic is and what can or cannot be discussed. I do recommend that you all read it...not argue and follow the rules for this forum. I would hate to see it get shut down.

I hate to say this, since it is a rather unpopular opinion, but VIP players should get these sort of perks. Most VIP players put far more than 10 passes a month into the game. On top of the 10 passes for their VIP, they also spend a fortune on all their BMI purchases for breeding and skilling and any promos that want to partake in. This is Howrses way of giving back to them.

Just because non-VIP players do not get as many perks, does not mean they lose anything y participating. In fact, they gain quite a bit by doing so. Just doing your objectives every day nets you at least 5ap a day. All the HS add up to extra tickets for you, and an additional prize the more you turn in.

If you win Winter you still get a lovely Divine that gives you 5k a day during the right seasons and a great comp horse that can help with Rosettes for other objectives, equus income and just have that little something extra special. Most of the original divines did not give their owners anyway, they /could/ reserve all the perks for paying members but they do not.

I have to agree with Hallaloth--thanks for the information about Winter, by the way!--because VIP is expensive. And what's everyone complaining about? So you're not going to get first place. So what? So you're not going to get all the horses with the best perks. So what? If you want them badly enough, buy them. Save up for them. This game costs real people real money to create and run. When you're in a business, you keep your paying clients happiest, and you make it so that the free clients WANT to pay in order to get more out of it. It's a good deal, because you don't HAVE to buy anything to have fun.

And I'd say Howrse is being pretty darn generous as it is. The Lottery gives away FREE BMIs, horses, etc., because all you're actually paying with is game (i.e. imaginary) money. In fact, this whole thing is essentially make-believe. Either it's fun for you or it isn't, and if it isn't, why are you still playing? If it is, accept things will change (because that's what you do in a business in order to stay relevant and therefore in business) and that you're not always, maybe even rarely, get what you want if you don't pay for it.

Please, please, please be HOPs lol. TCs are nice, but they're twice as expensive as HOPs, so I hope Autum and Winter will be available there instead.

Heya, I was wondering if someone could re-post the images for Donkeys? I heard from someone they were going to update their artwork as well, but I can't seem to find the post that showed the said artwork.

As much as I agree with Hallaloth and the others, I still think non-VIP players should have more perks. I dont mean everyone though. Maybe players with advanced seniority (like me) who have stayed faithful to the game for over two years. I find it quite annoying that I havent gotten sings of recognition from Howrse (for instance, being invited to the test server).

I dont mean to sound rude or jealous. Thats just what I think.

I need to correct what I said about non-VIP members being at a disadvantage when Winter releases. I didn't completely think about until an hour ago, so here's my thoughts on that perk. Not such a huge deal after all, just means VIP members will get done with all 10 of their comps first which makes way for all us others. So not such a big deal. I will say I expected more from the Winter coat but Autumn is perfect.

That may be Leola, but honestly, I pay too much to agree. Maybe if it was 5 passes, I'd agree, but it's 10 so yes I want to have a ton of perks. Ones that non's can't get near to.

Also, everyone could come up here and say "gosh I did this so I should get something for it" Which is why Howrse just leaves that touchy subject alone. We all do something incredible but we don't get much for it, just satisfaction.

Ten passes is actually pretty expensive for premium access to a game's features. Howrse isn't giving VIP members these perks for a small pittance, especially considering many players are already spending quite a bit on passes already.

They need to make the perks worth paying for, or the entire point of VIP would be made obsolete.

I'm honestly very happy the new divines are offering extra bonuses for VIP members. It keeps me on my toes... And Howrse is encouraging the VIP members to continue to play competitively (which translates into more income for the site - which means more reason for the developers to keep releasing new content).

Winter's perk is hardly game breaking.

I really wasn't trying to sound like I was trying to complain about VIPs getting more perks. I was simply making an observation about how that because of some of the perks they are getting that the horseshoe collection will all but come to a standstill because the majority of the population will stop even trying to collect them. It will be too frustrating for us to even try to find them. Im also concerned that the time between festivities will draw some folks away from even playing as they depend on the goodies they get from the lotto to help them in their game.
VIP players pay a lot of passes for the perks. I definitely understand that and respect that. Again sorry if it came off as complaining. Was trying to make it more concerning.

So will there be every wind divines up for sale each day like the solar divines? Or are these 4 the only ones going to be for sale?
