There's probably a fourth horse. Even if it's male, maybe another Great Challenge will provide mates for them all? Yes, Pixiu does have a mane, but many people don't really care about wether or not that means male--(most likely not) but it could still be a mare.
There are in Chinese culture two Pixiu ( one of each sex I believe)

I have been saving up my HoP's to see if Tianma's mate will be found in HoP's, and im also prepared to buy a Titan's Challenge! default smiley (lol)
I found some stuff about treats on the Canadian version. They said it was translated from the French version with Google Translate, so there may be a few errors.
Beware, the spoiler below is really big!

The operation treats and food takes a little updating. Learn about the changes concerning

carrots

- Give a carrot makes up 8% of energy and action lasts 15 minutes.
- The equestrian center offers carrots to residents if it has in inventory. If he does not, breeders must use those of their inventory. It is possible to buy carrots to the store of the breeder.

mash

- The turnip is deleted and replaced with the mash.
- The action lasts 30 minutes and is separated from the action feed. It may be performed once per day.
- When a horse eats a mash, it wins:
+ 10% energy
10% of moral
+ 5% of healthy
- The equestrian center offers mash to residents if it has in inventory. If he does not, breeders must use those in their inventory

food

- Cereals become oats and fodder is produced by the alfalfa crop.
- The equestrian center offers oats and fodder for residents if it has in inventory. If he does not, breeders must use those of their inventory. It is possible to buy the feed and grain store of the breeder.
For now, offer fodder and oats in his riding does not count for prestige. This will happen thereafter. Mash, meanwhile, account for the prestige, in the same way that health mash before.
The concept of clean grass is removed.

- The groom is therefore only action on the boxes of the equestrian center.
- The calculation of the energy gain and moral and forage consumption of a horse when it is put out to graze prestige depends on bluegrass.
- Flooding is deleted and the storms have no more destructive to crops.

Any reference to cleanliness grass is removed from the game.

Improvements are made at the meadows to make them more consistent operation.

• Meadows infertile are deleted. If you possess, they are replaced by a fertile meadow same size, except the large infertile meadow, which is replaced by two fertile meadows of medium size. The fertility of these fields will increase as the days up to 100%.

The areas of the various fields, the number of horses they can accommodate and seed / fertilizer needed for crops are reviewed: see below for details of the correspondence between the size of the meadow, the number of horses that can pre welcome and seeds and fertilizer needed for crops.

Small meadow -> 5ha -> 5 horses -> 5 seeds and fertilizer 5
Mean pre -> 10ha -> 10 hp -> 10 seeds and fertilizers 10
Large Pre -> 25ha -> 25 horses -> 25 seeds and fertilizers 25
Greenhouse -> 10ha -> / -> 10 seeds and fertilizers 10

• It now takes 5 dung for manure fertilizer.
• The price of seeds is lowered.
• Fertilizers and seeds of your inventories are multiplied by five.

The alfalfa
- It is possible to grow alfalfa.
- The alfalfa seeds cost 30 equus to shop equestrian centers.
- The cultivation is done in summer and lasts seven days.
- The seeds of alfalfa produce fodder once culture performed.
- It is possible to sell the product and feed but not to buy.
Turnips, barley and flax
- All three products are removed.
- The cultivation of flax is retained but produces only bedding.

the mash
- The three types of mash are merged into one.
- The ingredients for making a mash change
- A mash is 25 equus resells to shop equestrian centers and bought 50 equus to the store of the breeder.

Other adjustments:
- The price of seeds and fertilizers decreases because a larger number it takes for crops
- The price of straw bedding decreases
- To better balance the crop yield, it is lowered for the summer crops and higher for spring crops.

• The current crop of turnips become alfalfa. The cultures become ongoing barley oat crop.
• What is happening with the products you have in your inventory?
below detail tells you how the products were removed from the game have turned in your inventory:

Turnip -> 25X feed
Barley -> oats
Flax -> oats
Energy Mash, mash caloric mash health -> mash
turnip seed -> 25x alfalfa seeds
barley seed -> 5x oat seeds

If I'm reading the above spoiler correctly then it sounds like carrots will replace turnips. I wonder if this means our Foal Games schedules will need to be reworked? default smiley xd Thank you for the new information, Leola!

This is so confusing! Many things will have to be changed now. For instance, what will Geyser's new bonus be? It used to be 2% more meadow fertility or something like that.

What about the foal games? Everything will be at standstill!

Unicorn teams!default smiley <:o) But... Will all our hard work have to be restarted? Or will we keep our places in the ranking?

Whoa! So many changes to the EC!default smiley :odefault smiley :odefault smiley :o I like the current way the EC's are run now! I wouldn't like that to change!default smiley (n)
So if Leola's spoiler is correct (thank you so much for any kind of update on this!!!), really the only thing I can see to do in preparation is to stock up on EC equus to buy a bunch of mashes when the changes go in effect. Does anyone see anything else that can be done in advance to hit the ground running?

I've got plenty of turnips (over 1300 combined), so if that's true, that's what? 30k feed? That works for me default smiley xd

Will we have to grow our own grain as well? If so, I can always get more before then, but I'm sorta saving up money default smiley xd
That's assuming they merge our items. I only remember Ow being specific about the reserves merging. It would make more sense for everything to merge, I'm just sayin. I want to have all these items available from me EC, just because I'm very into the EC side of the game.

I don't understand how you will get your own grain. And personally, I'd prefer not to have to buy my own grain at the store. I'd rather use the fodder method where it already charges you. And I don't understand the part where the effect of say, a carrot, only last 15 minutes. Do you mean 15 min in your horse's time?
By Retired breeder, August 14, 2014 05:47:27

A carrot will take 15 minutes out of a horse's day, like it does now.

I don't understand all these changes, but they sound exciting and I'm sure i'll figure it out in due time! I really like that they're getting rid of the turnips though! Those have always been a pain for me! Not sure if I get the whole "feed" and "alfalfa" things but I'll get it eventually. default smiley (y)
By Retired breeder, August 14, 2014 13:26:59

Okay I know they're very rare, but what about changes to the pass seeds? I have two in my inventory (because I didn't know you had to buy five when they released the pass seeds a year or two ago). Since they're getting rid of the large meadows, how will you grow pass seeds again (IF Howrse releases them again)?
By Retired breeder, August 14, 2014 13:34:51

They aren't getting rid of the large meadows. They're getting rid of the INFERTILE meadows. default smiley ;)
Uh oh - "grow your own grain" - does this mean that those of us who don't own ECs are going to have to quickly create one in order to feed our horses?

What?! Then what will happen to the large infertile meadows I have?!
By Retired breeder, August 14, 2014 15:50:21

Meadows infertile are deleted. If you possess, they are replaced by a fertile meadow same size, except the large infertile meadow, which is replaced by two fertile meadows of medium size. The fertility of these fields will increase as the days up to 100%.

So, 1 Large Infertile Meadow= 2 Medium Fertile Meadows
So if you have to be boarded in an EC to feed your own horses, where's the point of the Hypnos Blanket..?
