Except now you will need two types of rides to blup a TB. Forest for speed and gallop, and mountain for dressage. So it will take longer than before unless you do forest rides in a forest EC, then switch to a mountain EC for the mountain rides - thereby cutting each rides' time in half and adding up to the time of one regular set of rides. default smiley (h) So it will be faster in one sense, but slower in another.

we still have chronos timers though --- they help -- and I nyx all my compers anyway --
LOL I'm not moving from Ec to Ec just to get the skills "faster' ---
it'll be ok, no sweat --
beside it's at times a good thing to go slow and not get the skills too fast with those "high octane" GP horses -- get them too fast and you get the skills out of rookie range -- and oops -- no more rookie comps

default smiley (lol) I blup way too many horses to nyx all of them... and since I am blupping mainly foundies and unicorns their gp is nowhere near high-octane levels. Of course most of mine get P stones so time isn't a factor for me... but for dedicated uni breeders blupping by age 10 is a big deal. I think it will still be possible - it will just be closer than it has been.

I hit 10 years anyway, since almost every single breed I work with takes two types of rides to get all the skills. I'll have to rework my long-standing schedules for the rides, but I do long Trot at the beginning anyway; it's not like I'll suffer too much.
When you consider one set of rides will be 2 times faster (unless you board at the beach) the time is still likely going to be shorted to get full ride gain for all 6 skills. unless they adjust the percent levels needed for each skill. '

I am betting even with split skilled horses it will be even easier to be done before age 10.

Since most of mine require speed, I have a feeling I'll be going to the forest. Yay! Looking forward to the removal of short speed rides, those always take forever! default smiley <:o)

I wonder if sometime in the future there will be a button that gives the option of private or public? It would be nice not to have to reserve boxes every time.

I think I'll be putting my EC in the Mountains. It's going to take me a while to figure out all the new EC stuff; but I think once I get used to it, it shouldn't be too bad.
As to the Seal; I look forward to it! I see no difference between referencing that then using names from Egyptian, Greek, Chinese and Norse mythology.
I did hear there was a new Water Divine? Rain, that could breed with Geyser to produce Cloud? Or was it Cloud+Geyser=Rain...either way, if those two new Divines actually exist, can anyone tell me where there are pictures of them?
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you already need to finish all rides to to get 100 Blup? Other than reworking the way you BLUP, whats wrong with getting ride of one of the rides?

You only need to do the rides that train in the horses/ponys top 3 skills ex: for a thoroughbred its the short gallop rides(speed, drassage, gallop)

Fireheartmaster - you have have to bold the top three skills to get 100 blurp.

For my Fresians - that means Stamina, Speed and Dressage - To do take, I do long Trot rides to get stamina and then short Trot rides to get Speed (both give Dressage), With this change I'll be going both forest and mountain rides.

If you horse has Stamina, Dressage and Jump as it's top three skill - all you have to do are the long Steep Slope rides, With the new system - you again only have to mountain rides.

What I hope to see is the beach rides timing go to the same amount of ride time to complete as the other rides. Right now, it seems when I'm working on a comp horse that the beach rides take almost twice as long as the other rides in terms of number of hours needed.

I really do enjoy rides now more since I figured out something... but Steep Slope rides are still a pain since I only get 9% of my rides done per day, whereas I can get up to 12% on my Trot rides per day and up to 20% of the skill gain on my comps done per day.
Fireheartmaster
I personaly fully bold and blup. Skills are higher by far, and better in born skills. I win more races with my fully blup'd. But to just blup you only beed the top 3 boldrd and your of course. I tried it once and it threw offs my whole breeding for a few horses. Lesson learned

I'm going to keep it to myself; sorry. It might only work for the breed I'm actively working; who knows? I've only tried it with Nokotas.

New Information on the Halloween Divines Promo
Click to display
Now if you don't know there will be 4 new divines who include
War

Famine

Death

and Plauge

Now these four must be featured in a promo. If you watch the history channel today there was a whole show on the apocalypse of earth. REMEBER this fictional story! In the story there are 3 horse men that each repersent on part of the apocalypse. The first is War so that means there will be a war and then the wars surviors must face famine. Now the ones who live will die as death represents. So now we leave Plauge. Pluage is a sickness so that might finish everything off. If you haven't noticed all four horses has a part in the story so it all adds up that the promo may be a apocalypse themed promo

those aren't new divines. they are coats from the new BMI, The Seal of the Apocalypse.
By Retired breeder, October 4, 2014 22:51:22
Whoops
Maybe instead of them being divines the costs are a clue for the promo
