Oh, I know. I figure there probably won't be anything. I just got a little excited, I guess.

And I will be very sad if they take the mobile version away... I'll just have to hope that doesn't happen.
I will not mind at all if they take the mobile version away. It used WiFi just like using internet does on my tablet. So I always used the classic version.

I would very much not like a new game by owliwent because I don't even like the turns that howrse is taking and could not imagine a whole new game to use up their time more

Kaya, I have not experienced any issues with the mobile version. I hope they do not remove it. It comes in very handy when computers are not available

Even when I play on my iPad - I play in classic mode - but having a mobile version for folks is nice - it's always good to have options.

As for a new game - this one takes up too much of my time as it is - doubt I would be interested in a new one - especially if it was limited to a mobile platform. I do most of my gaming on my laptop - the iPad is only used in rare cases.

I agree. I would have zero interest in a mobile only application. No thinks. One Howrse is more than enough

I tend to agree with cjhorses and CHightshoe. I spend too much time online now trying to keep up with what I need to do here, no way would I have time (Or the money!) for another online game addiction lol.
Hopefully Howrse will concentrate it's efforts here instead of splitting them between this and another game.
The money is the more important factor. The new changes and the Divines are tough on a wallet.

I mean, it is both unreasonable and illogical to try to include a 100 - 200 dollar amount in the monthly budget. Having two games would be a nightmare.

We dont have to buy passes monthly- its a choice. I know that some people are dedicated to the game, but its possible to invest in another possible Owlient game. What if you like it even better?

Yes, I am aware of the choice not force ideology. Not possible, I am dedicated to Howrse as is.

Alright then. Personally I'm curious about what (or if) they're going to make.

Sure, curiosity is great. I am certain they are always cooking something up...

My guess is, and please understand this is only speculation I have no sort of 'insider knowledge' or anything. Anyway, my guess is it would be more something simple, mobile games do not tend to be overly in-depth conglomerations. From what the poll suggested it would be a fun way to have a horse with more of a personality to get to know and a morale meter to keep track of with fun little things here and there.

As I do not really own a mobile device I have little interest myself.

I do agree with your line of thought. There was an app - mobile format - from iTunes I played (bad pun) around with when I used an old iPod Touch where you basically got a horse with the intro tutorial then took care of it with rides, bathes/grooming, tack, etc. Owlient's questions kind of remind me of that old mobile app.

So I'm guessing like Halloloth that it'll be much more limited than the current Howrse.
I have trouble with the mobile version because there is no ec. I just use the internet on it. They both use WiFi! And my tablet does not have built in WiFi. So for me, the mobile version is not helpful. I am not a pass buyer, so two games=more fun!

I basically only use the mobile version so if they take it out I will be mad!default smiley :@
I personally sincerely doubt they'll take out the mobile version, but even if they did, you can stilll get to the regular version from your phone or tablet just fine. I just can't imagine them throwing away something that took them a lot of time, effort, energy, and money to create. No, if they're doing anything, I'm betting they're simply creating another game rather than tossing anything relating to this one. It'd be far too wasteful. I wouldn't worry, flower74.

Am I interested in another game, one in which it is possible to be more attached to your horse? Nope. I like this one, where there's competition and LESS attachment. The new game sounds more like something for young kids--educational, cute, and safe--and not for someone of my age range and older.

That's just my humble opinion.

I think I would like more hands-on. It would take longer but it would be fun.

Classical is one of the weirdest Howrse things I've tried. I have to click 'horses' on the breeding tab every single time! I like the simple back button...

It makes sense it would be like an introduction to Howrse for little kids since they are making this game much more advanced! Kids these days all seem to have mobile devices.default smiley (lol). The only mobile devices when I was little were the ones that had actual keyboards and were two pieces like a laptop, but miniature.

Since its acquisition of owlient a few years ago, I'm sure Ubisoft has benefited greatly from owlient's extensive expertise in online game development. Seems logical that since Ubisoft already developed a mobile app version of howrse once they acquired owlient, then howrse players are a great starting point for Ubisoft's marketing research on a potential stand-alone mobile horse-related game app.

Ah, to be young again! (Just kidding; I'm 18.) But my first phone did calls and text messages. My second phone? Bit more advanced; you could personalize ringtones. My third? Limited internet capability. The one I have now is my fourth; music, games, internet, the whole nine yards. A new mobile game... I have no interest in it. This game, my writing, and my schoolwork takes up too much time.
