Do we have any info on what the upcoming promotion will be? And when the seal of apocalypse will be in the Black Market?

We have no way of knowing unless it goes up on a test server, which they usually do. Many assumed the Seal would be over Halloween, apparently not unless they decide to it this weekend. The Seal did get tested somewhere, so we are just waiting for a release date.

That was one of the things we tested on this last prepod testing.

Did they change they're names or are they wrong? Because now they're names are Bellum, Fames, Morsm and Pestilentia, rather then the original names. Or is that their French names?

They changed the names to Latin because supposedly that way it made them "not as offensive".....

Yes they are different languages because some people were offended. *shrugs*

After the recent outbreaks of Ebola here is the US I would think everyone would be.... Maybe I'm alone in thinking how very disrespectful they are.

And as I thought, of course it's yet another trophy we have to complete to finish the collection/keep our ranking. I'm sure everyone else is excited about the new coats... I really wanted to be but considering I'm a coat collector but I just can't share the enthusiasm over what they stand for.

Gypsyboots, I was honestly thinking the same thing. Other than Bellum, the apocalypse coats are a little iffy for me, especially with Pestilence. Ebola is very frightening for me, and Pestilence just reminds me of it.

I am, though, of the mindset that those who want to buy it can, and those who don't can save their passes.

I agree with you, Gypsyboots. For me, Howrse is escapist. I don't come here to be reminded of serious, real world problems. And the main theme of this BMI is Christian/Biblical in nature (vs. mythological or referring to ancient religions that are no longer (widely) practiced). So, thumbs down on these coats in principle, regardless of the artwork I also think they are in especially poor taste given current events.

However, in this forum, I think the consensus has been to "agree to disagree" and that vigorous criticisms of the coats should be taken up with Ow through the contact us section. And I can understand that. Our opinions here have little weight unless someone in Owlient marketing just happens to be scrolling through. And, if Ow had cared about current events, they wouldn't have launched these coats already. The best people who don't like these coats can hope for is that they don't sell well.

I am sure that these coats were in the making long before any of the health events in the US became a news item. While Ebola has been going on in Africa it has been doing so for many, many years ( just not as strong).

I personally don't like any of these coats even though on the test server I tested all of them. I have just chosen to ignore them for my own personal reasons and enjoyment of this game.

I did the same with the snake/dragon divine we had earlier as I could always join a Chinese game featuring them if I wanted to have one. This game is about choices and if you don't like a certain aspect of a game and its ignorance does not materially affect the game then I cannot see why that isn't the path you would take.

What in the world do these coats represent????????? I don't get this at all!!!!!!!

Never seen it before, WhiteCoral. The screenshots look legit but I doubt it would make sense for Howrse to introduce such a thing... not sure though.

That said "permanently" though... Why would a BMI that's PERMANENT be that low-cost? Divines cost a nice sum and they are permanent, though even bonus-giving Divines aren't that generous with their bonuses... unless you're VIP or it's a Water Divine.
