With these two new packs coming in Dec. what does this mean for the Asgard and Olympus Packs? Will they be released at all like last year or will they be taking the back burner this time?

Players have no way of answering that question and Admin is usually quiet about such things. I would just recommend keep an eye on the sitemap. Since the links are still there either they are going to be updated or we are just getting some new things to add. No way to tell at this point in time.

According to translations it means Horse Of (Cheval des/Cheval de la) in French and then Giara means Jar in Italian, but I couldn't translate it to any other language. I also know for a fact that Outer Banks are "a chain of barrier islands extending southward for 175 miles (282 km) along the coast of North Carolina, consisting largely of sand dunes and serving as a buffer against the Atlantic Ocean." so I'm guessing it has to do with the coast/sand dunes? This was according to Google Translate so some of the translations might be a bit weird

Hipparion:

Hipparion is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Every time he has collected 200 skill points, he offers you a foal of a race and color, which you don't owe yet. If you already owe every color of every race you don't receive a foal.

This horse cannot be sold.




Hyracotherium:

Hyracotherium is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Thanks to Hyracotherium, every donkey mare you cover, will give birth to foals with additional 50% skills. This advantage cannot be accumulated with several Hyracotherium in your possesion, however it is compatible with Aphrodite's Tears.

This horse cannot be sold.



Hippidion:

Hippidion is part of the prehistorical horses.

Hippidion is a mare and can mate once with Tarpan and give birth to a foal "Horse of the Woods/Forests".

She receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Every time she has collected 200 skill points, she offers you 1x Aphrodite's Tears.

This mare cannot be sold.



Tarpan:

Tarpan is part of the prehistorical horses.

He receives one skill point every day, limited to the maximum of half the skills the best horse has on that day.

Thanks to Tarpan, all the purebred foals to whom you give birth to, will have a bigger chance to receive the same coat like one of their parents, compared with the usual chance of getting a coat which is registered for that particular race.

This advantage cannot be accumulated with several Tarpan.

He can mate with Hippidion, if she has never been covered.

This horse cannot be sold.

I have access to the translation centre and I was scrolling through the texts on my horse's care page. Hidden amongst them, I found one that said 'Magic Ride'

The translation pages holds things from plenty of past promos. That does not mean the Ride is coming back (please let it not be coming back) Test Server should have an answer within the next week or two I would imagine. If it is the ride and things are being released in it, they usually start it fairly in Dec because it is such a long tedious promo >.> can you tell I am biased against this one? heh.

It's already been posted, at least the top map has.
It's not fair that, if you have all coats for all breeds, you don't get a foal. It took a long time to get that trophy, honestly, and even a rare percent coat would be preferable to no foal. It just seems like we're punished with that divine if we get it.

The advantage to Hipparion will be when new breeds get released in the future.

I agree it seems to be a bit unfair if you have completed the coat collection to not get a foal at all - but since it is probably safe to assume that Howrse will continue adding new breeds in the future he will come in handy at that time.

I'm really looking forward to Hipparion, since I'm assuming those foals to be Ouranos/Gaia foals. Hopefully, some more foundation horses of rarer breeds will make their way into the sales. NIB breeders shall be happy... Though I agree, not getting a foal as a punishment for having assembled that trophy seems unfair.
