As has been stated multiple times, we will not know the answer to that until the breed is released which will be Christmas day when we are able to open presents from the Magic Ride.

As far as we know at this point - the work horses will be available to all ECs. Until the test server is opened prior to the Febraury update we are only making guesses regarding the Work horses. We don't even know if they will actually be a specific breed or if they will be a generic work horse.

Everyone is getting excited thinking Draft horses are coming to Howrse, but we have no indication that the work horses will be an actual breed that we will be able to work with like our regular horses.

I've thought the same thing many times... It's always been my understanding we'd been told that the draft horses would NOT be like regular horses... They'd be similar to either the cows we use for our cutting comps or possibly used like the scarecrows are for the meadows.
Not once has anyone mentioned that they would be anything we could actually work with or breed.....

Actually, I read that tractors are supposed to be used as the scarecrows, although I forget where I read that, so it may not be true...

magic - gypsyboots wasn't saying the work horses will be replacing the scarecrows. Yes the timeline of upcoming changes did say something about tractors replacing scarecrows.

What we are saying is that based on the information that has been posted in the EC changes timeline - they appear to be more of an ITEM smiliar to the cows used for cutting comps or the scarecrows.

I just concerned that so many people are excited that we are getting draft horses when all the information that has been posted is more indicative of us getting work horses that will be part of the EC like equipment - not actual draft horse breeds like Shires, Belgian Drafts or Clydesdales.

The changes in Feb may give us the draft breeds - but I think it's best if players think of them as work horses or as EC equipment - and hopefully we'll all be pleasantly surprised - as opposed to getting all excited and finding out they are not getting to breed and work with their favorite draft horse breed.

I never said they would be replacing scarecrows.... It was an example. In other words the draft horses everyone is going crazy about will be used Like the scarecrows. In the way we buy them, stick them in the meadow and that's pretty much it. There's been no indication what so ever that they will even be specific breeds, much less we'll be able to do anything with them other than maybe a simple action of "Go gather wood in the forest" type thing. Possibly even on some kind of a cycle that does it automatically. Similar that the scarecrows do that part of their job for us. Its not been said anywhere that we'll be able to actually do anything with them. It's only a generalization of Work Horses...

Exactly. Thank you for explaining it better than I did lol. I've been seeing the same thing... Everyone is getting their hopes up and asking what breeds of draft horses we'll be getting when we've never been told they'll even be able to breed or be worked like the horses we have now.

No one has said they'll be anything other than another piece of equipment we'll be able to utilize within our ECs. Like the cows, scarecrows, showers and the new troughs and tractors....

No one really knows what kind of promos Howrse will decide to bring out when until usually right before it happens. Since the Great Challenge is still in it's first year, there may be break every now and then.

That BM isn't coming out because too many players had a problem with the way it would work. It was said it was possible it might be introduced sometime in the future but not anytime soon and not as a part of the Christmas packs like was originally advertised.

It's been talked about but Howrse keeps saying since they're so hard to patrol and keep drama free that they'll never come to the US Howrse but... They've said that about a couple of other things too so I guess it's a possibility. I don't see it happening anytime soon though unfortunately, sorry.

I think that they are about to allow you to buy moves for passes in the Magic Ride. I just received a pass UFO. Ya'll may want to stock up on passes!

The main reason why there are so many Mods on the International is due to the argumentative manner ( and what) is posted in the regular active threads.

I gather than some of you may be unhappy, that's something natural.
However beware of how you voice your unhappiness.
There are limits to how much bashing i can accept on the forums and we aren't far off from toppling over them.
If you have constructive criticisms and arguments they will have more impact than insulting the people who work on the game.<<<<

It gets very heated there and you wade into those threads equipped with full armor ( especially if you disagree with the most popular stance).

Sometimes I just sit back and shake my head, or giggle outright.
