Okay, I guess that makes sense - it would be impractical to just be able to store entire buildings until we wanted to use them. default smiley (lol) I take it this means that once a building is installed in our EC we can't remove it, right? Do we get compensated at all if we destroy it?

So we are unable to sell buildings that are attached to our EC? That makes profiting a tad difficult, though I get why. You have to guess at the suppy/demand ratio a few days out and there is not much of a way to predict that unfortunately. Is there any sort of chart that is keeping track of previous prices? If not, could it be recommended so people have a way to track the flux over time? I thought they used to have such tracking charts for horse sales even waaaaaaay back in the day.

Hallaloth: there are such charts for the store items that fluctuate right now. Is that what you're thinking of, or something different?

Will we still be able to buy boxes or do we have to make them?

AGBlank

You can still buy them.

The building is just an option that has been added.

Just as an addition.

Because the secret market will be gone none of those items can be bought by passes aster the update, so if anyone was planning on doing so better do it before the update.

Will there still be a Horn of lushes, or whatever its called? (lushes/ lushness, something like that)
That item can only be bought in the secret market, so I would assume not.

Can a box be repaired if it has lower than 75% wear and tear? And if so how?

This belongs in the game play forum. Yes. Check the boxes>change these boxes>repair these boxes

So are more EC changes taking place of the great challenge or is there something that I missed? By the time I saw the post on the great challenge forum, this forum had been exploding for days. I think I read something about pinatas somewhere but I haven't heard anything else about them nor do I know what they are pertaining to howrse.
Nintenthong - more EC changes are coming, page 406 is where it all starts. There is way too much info to re-post it all.

Thanks for replying. Much appreciated.

I understand that it helps with general ranking and for collecting aging points. But I was hoping for more of an option.

Of course those of you that are concerned with your ranking's would keep said horses but being able to get rid of them would be fantastic too.

I don't have many bf's as is and my last one is so cluttered with "coat horses".
I was just hoping for a little less mess is all.

Thanks again for replying. default smiley (a)
Having extra horses is a wonderful way to farm for aging points, collect trophies, and coats. If you can organize them according to what they are or by breed, it helps immensely. In addition, I have always found that having extra horses helps during big challenges and other promotions. I mean, I would remove the wings from a regular horse, while I will not if it has a ga coat. In the end, what you choose to do is totally up to you, but I would give some thought to some long range planning of your game. What you feel is unimportant today may take on a whole new meaning later. My point is develop a strategy to obtain the objectives you set for what type of game you want. Finally, having extra horses is not a burden because they do not need to be boarded or worked.

Lol. I actually hate having so many extra horses that just sit for coat trophies. I do not have the funds to put GAs on them all and make them personally valuable. And I am not going to AP farm them because that just leads to them getting older and turning into pass horse, meaning I have to find the silly coat again later. I went through and SHed about 10 or so the other night that I found I had unicorns/GAs with the coat needed so that was nice. I am /not/ a fan of virtual clutter.

You and me both.

I have a very streamlined account and since I am on other servers I can't afford ( time wise) to sit for hours working one account with tons of horses.

The funny thing is with 168 horses ( 40 are spares like foundies of some sort) I have over 10,000 APs. So I have never understood the need to have so many horses just to do SP farming( but I also don't do much breeding either)

But to each their own.default smiley (y)

I'm happy I only have around 300 horses, because it actually drives me kind of crazy to not work a horse unless its being saved, lie my pets. I'm like that with everything, I can't just not do homework, and such. I think that's why my good horse get BLUPed very slowly.
Something new showed up on prepod.default smiley :)

they put various employees in the HOP. So you could win a 30 day contract for an employee ( can be any of the various employees).

ALSO in the HOP is this.

You also won a 30 days expert diploma for employees in your equestrian center!

This diploma apparently doubles the bonus of ALL employees you currently have in your EC for 30 days.

Do we know what kind of changes will come after the EC ones are done?

AGBlank

Did they mention if that will be permanent? Or is it just a one time deal since they are being newly released? If permanent, HoPs may be worth opening occasionally during promos >.>
