From what I have understood of what has been said, 'basic' resources will be purchasable from the store at a set price (like Iron/wood/ect) It is the finished products from those resources whose prices will be in constant flux.

With these changes in the EC, I guess my EC will really take huge plunge downward -once again.

I can't afford to "buy" employees with pases or diamonds and really can't see the point! Why not bring them back, as before?

Guess I will be on long enough to work my divines and that is all.

same here pamlynnet -- same here -- but I don't think the devs really care -- and that's really sad ...

You absolutely do NOT need to buy employees to have an EC that is in the same position it currently is. Mine is at the same level and I will not be buying any employees. If I get the free ones that float around then fine, but not spending one cent on them.

These new employees are, like Cyberhorse said, not necessary to have a good EC. Whereas with the old jobs you needed a saddler to offer tack, now your workshops can make tack no matter what. Having an employee might make tack cheaper or faster to make, but lacking an employee won't prevent you from doing anything.

I am very disapointed that the option to put your horses in the meadow is going away. That is how my horses get most of their fodder intake. I am very happy however, that the developers are finally bringing draft horses to the game.

So, I may have missed this in previous conversation, but if the option to put horses in the meadow goes away...then the Divine Quartz's ability to produce a diamond will then be null and void??

Can't remember which but Opal and Quartz get their diamond from the carrot and drink option.

I'm kind of excited about this, but I'm not really sure how it's going to turn out. I think some features are better that others (being able to make things instead of paying passes. good for those who can't/aren't able to pay passes.) but some will simply be hard to work with. For instance... " The number of workshops that you can simultaneously have producing goods depends on the prestige of your Equestrian Center. " for people that don't have immense amounts of prestige, that's going to be frustrating. And also, that may make a huge jump in skill level requirements and comp difficulty, which will effect BULPing

One more thing... shouldn't technically we be able to collect manure from cows that we raise for leather, because, like horses, they produce droppings. Anybody know if that will be in the update?

The meadow is not going away, just the button for it is. When you go to feed your horse there is going to be an indicator as to how much fodder the EC provides, and the meadow will add to that. So even if an EC does not provide free fodder, it will be providing fodder through the meadow.

Does that mean it will take more time than thirty minutes to feed?

Feeding will take the same amount of time.
