It will more than likely start on Thursday. That has been when past promos have started.

Absolutely no way to make an estimate at this time. Part of it is entirely luck based, part of it depends entirely on how many passes you are willing/able to spend. we do not know the numbers needed for each individual tree yet. The English server has not opened for testing yet, so we do not even know the full spread of divines being offered at this time, or the amount of ornaments needed for their trees. Supposedly too there are changes from last year, whether that will make it easier or harder to get the divines (it was fairly easy with proper planning last year, the hardest part was the rarest ornaments of which each divine needed at least 15-20 of)

Unfortunately we are going to have to be patient on that one. They changed the number of ornaments needed for the Divines halfway through the promo last year to be more expensive than was originally planned, making Balios easily 2-3 times harder to get. I would personally plan on setting at least 30 passes aside, though if just going after one divine probably will not need all 30? No way to tell yet.

It really depends on what has changed from last year. Last year the trick was to get the trees you wanted, but wait to decorate them until after the Divine forest opened on the 24tj/25th and wait for that tree that you wanted to get back, then start decorating. But there is a possibility that things have changed a bit from how it was done last year, so we are not sure yet until English testing opens and we get a clearer picture of the changes. Should be within the next week or two.

Part 1: Advent Calendar

The principle remains the same as last year: every day from December 1 to 24 (November on the test site), players open one window of the Advent calendar and receive presents. The “day” is counted from daily update to daily update.

There have been some changes and adjustments since last year:

The graphics

The price in Equus to open a window later (starts with 500 Equus and doubles each time)

There are no tree decoration items in the calendar in the 6 first windows (e.g. before the decoration contest starts)

On Saturday, you'll see the chance of finding a divine horse in that day's window.

Part II: Tree Decorations

This part begins one week after the calendar. The principle remains the same, but there have been many adjustments since last year.

The objective of the event is to choose trees in specific forests, bring them back, wait, and then decorate them to win the gifts related to these trees.

What has changed since the last time?

There is a tutorial

The step where you have to select which horses go to get the tree is removed, for simplification.

The tree selection page has been adjusted for an interface that’s easier to understand (you can see directly which gift is linked to which tree for example)

All versions that have fully decorated the community tree will itrigger tree decoration UFOs (not just the winning version).

There is always a chance to get a partially decorated tree. We added a pop-up to make it less discrete.

At the end of each trip (except those of the divine trees), there is a chance that the horses participating in the journey will find a divine tree on their way. We've changed this so that the divine tree is in addition to the tree you return with.

The probabilities for decorations have been adjusted to be more balanced compared to last year

During certain periods of the competition, there will be decoration packs (instead of decorations in the Horns of plenty) that will contain 10 decoration items for 1 pass. There is randomness, but the probability has been adjusted a lot since last year

At the end of the contest, a random draw is made among the players who have obtained at least 2 golden horseshoes during the contest to offer the divine horse Cernunnos to some of them.

The Snowball Fight

Take part in a giant snowball fight with your friends

Principle

The principle is still the same: Snowball UFOs are flying around. A player must catch them and throw them to friends to win the gift they contain. The best throwers win gifts.
You will get two of these prizes, which means you can give the second one as a present to one of your friends. To do that, all you need to do is to throw the snowball at them!

There are Zodiac divines for the top ten prizes

Adjustments

By player request, it is possible to catch and throw snowballs through co-management

The rankings are updated more often (every 6 hours)

The private message sent to each player at the end of the event will be changed to show the exact position of the player, as well as the ranking of the top ten players during the event.

The ranking rules will also be changed. If 2 players have the same score, preference will be given to the one whose 'last' snowball was thrown first out of the two players.

Interesting, what is the Equestrian Statuette? Any news on that? That looks like a new 'icon' from other images in the past.

Pity, I had hoped they would offer a Balios other than the Winter one, Though I would have a second Balios, I do not want a duplicate in the set personally. Looks like I am just aiming for the next Celtic and bunch of goodies instead. Maybe I will collect a ton of drum horses.
