We don't know yet what promo this new divine will be attached to. I expect within 7-10 days we will know so for now we can just speculate what the perks might be ( not known yet).

Caryopsis is the botanical term for the type of seed head that wheat or many grasses have. Most of the names have been loosely Latin based, and it's not surprising they would continue that trend. I'm surprised by how slap dash the shading and outlines are on the image, especially on the legs, I wonder if that will be cleaned up?
Perks for this divine.

Click to display
Caryopsis belongs to the horses of the vegetable kingdom.
It can be sprinkled instead of being watered.
Its skills increase when you give him droppings. The amount of skills depends on the quantity of droppings given, but also on the season on the play.
When it reaches 80 skill points, it can be pruned. Its skill level then restart at to 0, but it offers to you one pass seed!
This mare cannot be sold.

thanks for the botany lesson dreamindeer…I honestly don't know anything about plants

So lets run some quick math on that. Assuming it follows the skill trends of all the others. That means 60/48/30/18 skill point break down for the month's seasons.

Click to display
Mind you, I am doing really quick math and not hard crunching it.
Winter 7 x 18 = 126 points
Fall 7 x 30? (cannot remember) = 210 points
Summer 7-11 (longest season of the 'year') x 48= 366-528 points
Spring 7x60 = 420
At minimum if you assign skill points carefully you should get on average 1,126
divide that by 80 since that is how many points it takes
14 pass seeds a month. Remember, you need 25 So at minimum it will probably take a month a half depending on the cycle.

Kinda nice. . .but it will be long term use over short term gain.

Again, that is with very thrown together math.

@Hallaloth
I can only understand half of it. Thanks for the info though!
Click to display

After the 1st month, you actually would need 11 more seeds to reach 25 and 11/14 ≈ 0.786.

So, that means if you gain 25 pass seeds in 1.75 of a month, that means if 12/1.75 ≈
6.86.

So, if you were to have enough fields and materials, you could gain a minimum of 6 passes per year and a few extra seeds (if this is your first year.) Again.. This could vary from how many pass seeds you originally had and depending on the cycle.

Ya'll.. I hate math, so don't expect me to be on point. This is an estimate, based on Hallaloth's quick math. Too bad I spent all my passes on this card promo.

To break it down, if you were consistent in feeding you would get

Click to display
about 6 passes per year averaging 1 pass every 2 months. Now this is a roughed out version of Hallaloth's post.

I might have missed something since I was skimming through, but if I understood right, Caryopsis is coming out in the promo after the next promo (and then next promo is like the Halloween promo with a different theme) right? Also, is it known exactly what the promo after the next promo is going to be? default smiley (ow) For the first time, I really hope it's not The Great Challenge and Lottery since you can only get the divine through luck. I rather know how many passes I'm going to be spending on the divine. default smiley :p Either way Caryopsis's perks seem really cool, though I'm not really a fan of how the divine looks. Meh, just my opinion. Thanks for all the info y'all default smiley (l)

Next promo (called, "The Celebration") is the one based on the Halloween promo. The promo after that contains the Caryopsis divine, but as Cyberhorse said, " We don't know yet what promo this new divine will be attached to. I expect within 7-10 days..".

Hope that clears stuff up!

Not sure why this question gets asked so much. . .

As always, the answer is this is not something we are told in advance. The last few breeds have been released via promos, and we only get advance warning on prom prize lists maybe 3-4 weeks in advance. If that at all. Breeds have been released outside of promotions before and when released via pass packs they are never put through testing.

No indication of a new breed has been in testing yet.

The promo after the next one is as follows.

Click to display
This event isafter the Trick or Treat, Celebration rather, which will be next and introduces the Maori divines.

The event after the Celebration looks to be the Great Challenge, and instead of the Lottery we will have the Derby, which judging by this translation looks like those "roll the ball in to the hole" games you see at carnivals (Equideow hasn't begun testing this portion yet, so no pictures or anything)

Translated using google translate, so expect errors:

No change except in the previous edition. The explanations page has the same graphics as the cards. According
to a message from Yomi. June 7, 2017
The divine will be in the horns of plenty.
5 cornucopias = 6 (from 40 irons)
4 cornucopias = 5 (from 80 irons)
3 cornucopias = 4 (from 115 irons)
2 cornucopias = 3 (from 145 irons)
D ' After a message from Yomi. June 7, 2017

Message of the contest on the preprod:

The concept is the same as usual: during the challenge, players collect gold irons in achieving their goals. VIPs may already try to find the new divine horse (Caryopsis) in the horns of plenty during the Great Challenge phase, or wait for the Derby.
/! The Festivities will not be a lottery, but something new: the Derby (it will not replace the raffle definitively, they will alternate between the raffle and the derby so that we do not have too repetitive contests.)

Phase of the big

Challenge : Changes since the last time (they mainly concern the objectives):
- The layout of the objectives follows the modifications of layout of previous competitions
- A system of stars is added: the players win 1 star with each objective . The puzzle piece is given when the 3 stars are won.
- New bonuses to win (no more lottery tickets)

Derby Phase:

To refresh the Grand Challenge, we have created a new contest (the derby) for the festivities (it does not completely replace the lottery , Both will alternate in the future). The concept is based on the horse race "Roll a ball" that you can find in carnivals.

Concept: The Derby consists of horse racing where players must throw a ball to move their horse according to the value of the hole where the ball fell. At the end of a race, players get flags based on their result. They can then exchange their flags for gifts.

Participate in a race

Each day of the contest, Players can participate in the X races for free. X = 1 to 4 depending on the number of horseshoes collected by the community during the Big Challenge phase. (Note: if a player does not use his 4 free races, they disappear the next day. There is no accumulation).

Then they have to pay to participate in more races. The price starts at 50 Equus, it is multiplied by 4 for each new race (including automatic races), with a maximum of 300,000 Equus, it is reset to the daily update.

Players register for a race by clicking the "Start" button. Then they choose the horse they want to enter (from 4 colors) and they click again on the "Start" button.

Race in the race

There are 4 horses for a race: the horse chosen by the player and the other 3 horses, controlled by the game.

To move their horse, the player throw a ball (by clicking on a "throw" button) Will land in one of the 6 holes. The hole is chosen randomly with equal probability. The holes have values ranging from 3 to 6, which determines how many steps the horse advances.

Players must repeat the operation until their horse passes the finish line = has gone from 60 stages to total. There is no limit on the number of balls that can be used.

Players can also choose the "Automatic" racing option, They do not want to get through the process of throwing bullets. The result will be random.

Bonus item

There are bonuses in the Derby, called "Bonus". They can be used during the race, in order to get more chances to win the race. The use of these covers the holes with the lowest number to increase the chance of getting a good number. Players can use up to 5 Derby bonuses per launch to guarantee a 6th.

You will find Derby bonus elements: during the Grand Challenge phase (by helping other players), with victories in competitions (6 per win and max twice a day), thanks to friends (max 5 per day) ( See below), with some UFOs. Derby bonus items can not be purchased.

Friends: You can ask friends for 500 equus, up to 6 times a day and receive 1 bonus item.

End of a race

A race ends when the player's horse passes the finish line and the player wins small flags according to the ranking of the horse.

Gifts and flags

Once they have enough flags, players can exchange flags with gifts of their choice on the "gifts" page. There are several gifts (divine horseshoes) that have a different price in flags. The price triple when the player bought a gift.

This page will be open for 72 hours after the end of the contest to allow players enough time to use their flags.

Even the divine is available in gifts, it can be obtained by spending only equus. According
to a message from tamoce on 9 June 2017

Possible to get with equus? Hmm. Interesting. I look forward to seeing this on the english servers to know what we are dealing with. But being in HoPs already is a really good thing, I already have 11 of those.

Wow haha. That's a lot. I used to have like 3 HoPs, but I traded 2 of them. Not very happy about it now. Oh well. Guess I'll have to see if I can trade a 5th Element for 1 or 2 HoPs. Have like 4 5Es so it doesn't make a difference.

Anyways, I'm not that happy that Caryaposis (i think that's how you spell it) is coming out in a luck item. I had hoped that it would come out in a promo where I can calculate and know ahead of time how many passes the promo will take. Guess I gotta start saving now and can't slack off on stroking Xanthos. I should also probably have about 10-20 passes by then.

Also, the new derby concept and choosing your own gift seems cool, but I'm glad the lottery will still be there (I think so right? I, again, was skimming through Cyberhorse's post. If I'm right, it said they would be alternating between the race and the lotto or something like that.). Anyways, I really love the lottery and always look forward to seeing which gifts I got. It's kind of nice to have surprise and you there's always an equal chance which is why I love the lotto and cards promo so much.

Also, can you still win lottery tickets during the Great Challenge or is that not an option anymore since the derby concept is coming?

Thanks!

Thanks! default smiley (l)

Great Challenge

Collect horseshoes by completing objectives. VIPs can try to find the new divine horse Caryopsis in the Horn of Plenty during the Challenge phase, or they can wait for the Festivities, which in this version of the event will be something new called the Derby.

Changes since the last edition:

Layout of the objectives has changed.

A system of stars has been added. You will win 1 star with each objective. The puzzle piece is given when all 3 stars are won.

New bonus items to win (no lottery tickets this time)

Instead of the Lottery you will have something new called The Derby.

Derby Phase

To freshen up the Great Challenge a little bit, we created a new contest for the festivities. The Derby consists of toy horse races where you have to launch a ball to move your horse according to the value of the hole into which the ball fell (very much like the carnival game). At the end of the race, you will get flags according to your result. You can then exchange your flags for gifts.

Enter a Race

Every day of the contest, you can participate in X races for free (X = from 1 to 4, depending on the number of horseshoes collected by the community during the Great Challenge phase. Note if you do not use your free races, they disappear on the next day. They do not build up.

After using the free races, you will have to pay to enter more races. The price starts at 50 Equus and is multiplied by 4 for each new race (with a 300k Equus maximum). This resets during each daily update.

Race Running

There are 4 horses in each race: one chosen by you and 3 other horses that are controlled by the game. To move your horse, you will throw a ball (by clicking on the 'throw' button) which will land in one of 6 holes. The hole is chosen randomly with an equal probability.

The holes have values from 3 to 6, which decides how many steps the horse goes forward. You will repeat this operation until your horse passed the finish line (60 steps total). There is no limit on the number of balls that can be used.

You can also choose the 'Automatic' race option if you don't want to go through the whole ball throwing process. The result will be random.

Bonus Item

There are bonus items in the Derby, called 'Bonus'. They can be used while a race is running, in order to get more chances to win the race. Using them covers the holes with the lowest number to increase the chance to get a good number. You can use up to 5 Derby bonus items per throw, to guarantee that you will get a 6.

Derby bonus items can be found:

During the Great Challenge phase (when helping other players)

By winning competitions with your horses (6 steps per victory, twice a day maximum)

Thanks to friends (maximum 5 per day)

From UFOs

By requesting help from your friends for 500 Equus, up to 6 times a day to receive 1 bonus item.

End of Race

The race ends when your horse passes the finish line. You will win flags according to your horse's ranking in the race.

Gifts and Flags

Once you have enough flags, you can exchange the flags with gifts of your choosing on the Gifts page. There are several gifts (from Iron to the new divine Caryopsis) that have different prices in flags. The price triples once you have bought a gift. This page will be open for 72 hours after the contest has ended to leave you enough time to use your flags. Even Caryopsis is available in the gifts, which can be obtained for a large amount of Equus.
