I’ve heard things about the Hearts Fight? What is that? default smiley *-)
By Retired breeder, February 6, 2018 02:50:58

Click to display
The hearts fight is a valentine promo. When you receive a UFO, you have the option to "throw" it at a friend so that they would also receive the gift. At the end of the event, the players who threw/received the most hearts, win a valentine themed divine which can be gifted one time to a friend on Valentine's day if the original breeder decides to.

The Memory game

The concept is more or less the same as last time but there are many significant changes for this new edition:

Match pairs of cards on a grid to complete a level

Use jokers for help

Get a gift when you complete a level

The difficulty increases by 1 pair/2cards from level to level.

[NEW] get the divine horse when you have obtained 3 laurels on each level.

Changes since the last edition

Lives
The lives are now symbolized as little hearts. Every time you uncover 2 cards that don’t match, you lose a life. If you uncover a matching pair, you don’t lose a life and can play on

You can obtain lives:

at daily connection

when finding a pair of life tiles on some levels

when finding all pairs of tiles from a collection

by buying them in the permanent offers [not available on the preprod]

by buying pack of lives during week-end offers

Jokers

There are 3 kinds of Jokers. They cost 2000 equus. Every day a player gets 1 free joker.

The Reminder shows between 1 and 5 cards the player has already uncovered. The cards are turned over for several seconds.

The Crystal Ball shows 3 tiles (or 6 during the weekend operations) for a few seconds (unseen ones in priority). It costs 1 pass.

The Family Ties shows all cards belonging to a same family for a few seconds. It costs 100,000 equus.

Laurels and the Divine horse

You start a level with 3 Laurels, but can lose some when you have lost too many lives. (If you restart a grid, the thresholds get nicer, to make it easier to complete the level with 3 laurels).

You get the divine when you have completed all levels with 3 laurels. (Which means that you’ll probably have to use jokers and do some levels more than once to get the Jackpot).

Gifts

A new breed is introduced with this contest: The Kerry Bog pony.

Collections

There are collections with the different families of cards. You can win hearts when you complete them.

Mobile version

There is a mobile version of this contest.

New Trophy

A 3rd Trophy for contests has been added.

NOTE: You won't see this unless you've completed Contest I and Contest II

Right now it's called Event III but it will be changed.

Underweight Horses

The warning message that you receive when your horse is underweight will now show the correct amount of fodder required (instead of the standard 20) to avoid overweight problems the next day.

This has also been adapted for VIPs who use the automatic food selection.

How many levels are in the memory game, and how many tiles can you flip over in one round? Also, any ideas on cost? I realize cost may change with how lucky you are in which order you flip cards/how good you are at remembering, but just curious what the expected range would be for different performance rates.

There are 26 levels and the new breed is on level 8 so should be doable for all players.
The 22nd level gives the green falla
The 18th a magic hat
25th a T scale and 26 a H staff.

I am actually going to have to actively play this time if I want to keep up with that divine set.

Once you beat the level is it free to go back and play it like it was the last time in order to get three stars on it?

What level is the divine on?
By Retired breeder, February 14, 2018 13:45:47

Most likely the last. There would be no point of having levels after the divine.

If you read back at what Cyber has posted

Click to display
the divine is not on a level. The divine is obtained after earning 3*s on each level.

Post from Legacy Ann on preprod

I was able to go back and redo a level, but it looks like you can only do so if you don't have a level in progress already. You can't exit a level once you've started, even if it's one you've completed already. I got a warning that attempting an already completed would still take lives, but I wasn't aware I wouldn't be able to exit.

Eeewww. That bites just a little bit. Especially since this is far more luck based than others in that you could just get a horrifically bad board. Though I suppose that is what the help is for. . . -sigh- I guess I'll actually have to learn the gimmicks of the helping parts of this promo this time.
