Wow. That list is pretty different then usual. So here's my thoughts so far with a few numbers:

Click to display

We will need to win 6 other wandering horses in order to win the "Blues" wanderer as you will need to tack up that many horses since we have to tack up wanderers right?

We get Hip-Hop basically for free? by feeding one apple to the one on Ow's page? So that is #1

Jazz, Funk and Country should be fairly easy to get. Jazz and Funk can be done in one day if you have enough horses and mashes. Country will probably take a few weeks as you can only gift so many items per week. Although, it looks like you only need to donate 3 gifts so that is one week I think or is it 2?

The rest of them all require you to perform actions on other wanderers. So you will need to tack up, train and start entering comps with the 4 you are able to get. Hmm. Are they listed in the order that they unlock? It would make sense that Blues needs to unlock right away so that you can get credit for tacking up your first wanderer. But if so then you won't be able to get Jazz, Funk and Country for a little while which means it will be a bit of a slow start. And will Reggae be unlocked from the beginning? If not we will need to hang on to any treble clefs until it does get unlocked.

Here are some more numbers:
-need to tack up 6 different wanderers to complete Blues
-need 200 treble clefs to get Reggae
-need to groom a wanderer 30 times for R&B - I imagine this will be easy especially if you are artificially aging with treble clefs as well
-get Metal for training a wanderer - this will easily go hand in hand with the artificial aging also
-need to "reach an extra year" with a wanderer 5 times for Opera
-need to donate 3 items to friends for Country
-need to enter 157 comps for Electro using a wanderer!
-need 20 mashes for Funk
-need to donate 8 horses to Ow for Jazz

So, there is one question I have left other than does this all look right. The one thing I don't understand is:

What do you mean "reach an extra year" with a wanderer??

Oh, well, I guess I'd also like to know when they will unlock. Which ones on the first day and how many days until each of the next unlock? It might be important to NOT use any treble clefs at all until Electro is unlocked as you will need to enter quite a few competitions to win Electro and if you use up all the treble clefs beforehand there might not be enough time to enter the comps without having to spend even more on buying treble clefs.

Bottom line: I see nothing that will cost passes except for the treble clefs. So the pass cost will be completely dependent on how many freebies of those we get and how much they cost to buy. Definitely a much simpler version. They have effectively removed the discount on pass cost for those folks who already knew about the wanderers and had preparations already in place so I will be very interested to learn what they have decided to set the pass cost at.

Here are some extra facts. You get treble clefs when you wander wakes up. They can also be bought and there will be UFOs. You use up a cleft when you age your horse ( other that the systems normal aging)

You can unlock future wanderers by paying passes. Otherwise you will have to wait for them to become unlocked.

Do you always get a treble clef when you wake up the wanderers or is it like AP and is there a CHANCE you can find one?

We have been having problem on preprod regarding this but it is confirmed

I LOVE those music wanderers! I only wish they had made the country one look a bit less "hillbilly" and more country with an acoustic guitar instead of a banjo! I mean, who's it representing? Good ol' Nashville country or the scary depths of Arkansas that no one likes to visit? default smiley xd

default smiley xd I think the Cowboy Hat helps it represent a Country singer instead of a hillbilly. But the Banjo makes it look like a hillbilly lol

I actually like the country horse. As a life long country fan, and I mean real country, there are plenty of real, talented, non-stereotypical artists that play banjo. There's nothing hillbilly about it. Just because something has been labeled by people who don't know what they are talking about, doesn't make it so.

They have gotten rid of pass horses on some servers, but they probably won’t do it on ours for a while.

The music wanderers are great but I do wish they'd gotten a bit more creative with the coat colors, like punk could've easily been a chestnut pinto, r&b a palomino with white socks and a blaze or a strawberry roan pinto, jazz could've been mouse gray, metal black paint etc... basically I'd love to see flashier horse coats beyond the bling default smiley (lol)

The only thing I simply hate about the design of these guys are the constant replica of poses. I mean, the art is just spectacular, but like, the Conductor is literally the only one with his unique pose. It gets a little repetitive and annoying.

I am going to share my experiences on test server for the upcoming promo...

Click to display
The promo is going to be Musical Wandering Horses.

The main way to progress here is to obtain Treble Cleffs, which will be the only way to age wandering horses and subsequently unlock the other horses required to complete the promo.

Click to display
Treble Cleffs act like aging points. You will be able to acquire them in one of three ways (only):

1) Find as a UFO (random)

2) Buy a pack of five TCs from the Black Market for 1 pass

The above option is only going to be offered for certain period of time, after which time, they will cost 1 pass per TC in the Black Market.

3) Rarely, find one as you are aging a wandering horse. Again, this is similar to finding aging points, with the exception that the probability does not seem nearly as high.

After using 100 TCs (Treble Cleffs) to age my horses, I found maybe 3 - 5 TCs, and after that I stopped finding them altogether.

Click to display
Tasks required to progress in this promotion and win each wandering horse are as follows:

Hip Hop - Give an apple to Ow's horse
Punk Rock - Congratulate players
Blues - Equip wandering horses with tack for the first time
Reggae - Age your wandering horses using Treble Cleffs - This is the most difficult horse to obtain.
R&B - Groom wandering horses
Metal - Complete skills training on wandering horses
Opera - Reach an extra year with a wandering horse
Country - Donate items from the shop to my friends
Electro - Enter wandering horses in competitions
Funk - Give my wandering horses mashes
Jazz - Donate horses to Ow (will require 8 horses to be donated)

*Note*
Reggae only gives you 0.5 points each time you age the horse. Therefore you will need 200 TCs to obtain this horse. This will cost approximately 40 passes if they are bought in a pack of 5 (much more if you buy them later, individually)

Click to display
I spent 30 passes on Treble Cleffs at the very beginning, and an additional 3 passes to unlock Funk and Jazz (the last two horses), which was optional. I could have waited for them to automatically be unlocked after a set amount of time passed and saved myself a few passes

Click to display
So I was able to get ALL of the musical wandering horses except for Reggae on the first day of this promo for 33 passes. It will require spending another 8-10 passes on TC packs if I want to obtain Reggae and get Bragi (the Nordic divine being offered - who occasionally gives a Harmony pack when enough points have been earned)

Click to display
In Summary: It will cost no less than 40 passes to get all of the wandering horses and the divine for this promotion.

Other BMI's offered have a value of roughly 10-15 passes IMO (This depends whether you value these items at their store and Black Market prices).

So you can earn points towards multiple Wanderer's at a time, so for every treble clef you use to age so that you can train your Wanderer would count towards Reggae.

The "Reach an extra year" just means age your horse to 4yo, 5yo etc.

From what I can tell, if you work every Wanderer as you get them you would only pay a maximum of 40 passes with the packs that they had on prepod (5 treble clefs for 1 pass). This price would definitely decrease if what Cyberhorse says is true and you get a Treble Clef each time your Wanderer (naturally?) ages

I'm a big fan of this promo, there's no luck involved with any of it, and I think the only Wanderer that would require you to spend extra passes would be Reggae. If you want the prizes that you get from the Wanderers, you really only need to spend 5 or so passes and you could potentially get every other Wanderer if you plan it out well. (I recommend training first, you gain points for each skills fully trained (i.e. dressage fully trained)

The ones you could definitely get without passes (in order) are:
Hip Hop
Punk Rock
Country --> Aging point x 5, Pink 2** Classical saddle cloth, Ploutos' Parchment
Funk --> Carrot x 100, Droppings x 200, Hypnos' Blanket
Metal(4 days for Dressage training x5) --> Philosopher's Stone, Achilles' Heel
R&B --> Lunge, 3*** Classical Saddle, Medusa's Blood
Blues --> Bell boots x 100, Equus x 5,000, Black Orchid
Opera --> Mash x 50, Vintage Apple
Jazz --> Horseshoe Studs, Hera's Pack
Electro(?) --> Titan's Challenge, Equus x 50,000

Really the only ones that I could see needing the artificial aging would be Reggae and maybe Electro depending on how fast you can get the other horses (156/6 would be 26 days of entering comps, but I'm not sure how long this promo will last)

Day 1: Obtain Hip Hop, Punk Rock, and Country: Groom x3, Train dressage 25% each, gift 3 friends shop items
Day 2: Groomx3, Train Dressage 25% each, Give mashes x3
Day 3: Groomx3 Train Dressage 25% each, Give mashesx3
Day 4: Groomx3, Finish dressage training, give mashes x3
Day 5: Groom x3 Train gallop/trot/jumping 22% give mashesx3
Day 6: Groom x3, train above skills 22%, give mashesx3
Day 7: aged x3, groomx3, train 22%, give mashes x3
Day 8: groom x3 train 22% give mashes x3 (get Funk, if available 2nd day otherwise he takes a week)
Day 9: groomx4 train previous horses 22%(get Metal), enter Funk and Metal in comps (x12),
Day 10: groomx4 (get R&B) if all tacked get Blue, comps x42
Day 11: compsx42
Day 12: compsx42
Day 13: agex3 get Opera, compsx48 get Electro

It should be possible to obtain all above horses within 13 days, so if that's how long the promo is you're in luck and you won't need any passes to get these items!

*please note that I used a shower and a water through in the % calculations for skills. (Also you can't put an Achilles Heel or Philotes Stroke on the Wanderers)

Conductor's coat gives +7 bonus in every skill! That will sure be nice for the Prix. I honestly think the conductor is more attractive than the divine itself. Too bad they didn't make him the goal instead. Just means I don't need to worry about spending more than 2 passes to get what I want. default smiley xd The objectives are pretty simple. I am surprised there isn't a dehorning objective, as that has always been a sad and undesirable objective to fulfill. It seems they are being nice to us this time.default smiley (lol)

So. . .

everyone keeps copy pasting the prizes. . . is it x1 bell boots? or x100? As the Queen hoarder of bell boots I absolutely must have a definitive answer

In seriousness though, looks like they finally reeled me in to finishing another promo. Darn, I was on a 2-3 promo streak of not needing to worry about spending passes on anything.

Legacy Ann was kind enough to work out some details on this promo.

Click to display
We did get confirmation that treble clefs are not found every time you age your Wanderer. It's just a chance. I've managed to find one as a UFO at least once a day though.

Here is my updated spreadsheet to reflect how many points you get per Wanderer when you donate a Treble Clef to that Wanderer directly(an option, not required). Points earned could change on the live version, and I don't know that "days to unlock" is set in stone either, though we've unlocked one new Wanderer each day on preprod. . You can pay passes to unlock them early if you don't want to wait, and the number of passes required is based on how much time is left Events are typically 19 days long, so perhaps this could assist anyone with estimates. There isn't really a way to accurately factor in the number of free Treble Clefs you'll find, so that could decrease your estimate.
