Forgotten Country

Welcome to the Forgotten Country, a brand new event!

A puzzle game where you must work your way from one end of the map to the other capturing territories and collecting prizes along the way.

How it works

Territories

Territories are tiles that already exist on the map.

Capturing a territory unlocks its prize.

To capture a territory you must surround the territory with placed tiles.

Clicking on a territory will show a small map of all the spaces required to capture the territory.

You must use tiles to link to new territories and access their prizes.

NOTE: You DO NOT need to place tiles on the diagonal to capture a territory.

Moving around the Board

The game board is big and there is no way to zoom out to see the entire thing at once, but it is easy to move around and explore.

To move:

Hold left click near the area you want to see and drag it into view (towards the center of your screen)

To see the prize for a territory:
Mouse over the territory's pre-existing tiles

To place a tile:
Left click on an available space (outlined in white)

Tiles

Tiles are composed of 4 sides, which can be part of 3 different environments.

You can only join tiles that match the same environment.

You can only place a new tile adjacent to a previously placed tile.

The spaces that are available for you to place a tile on are outlined in white. These are the spots you have unlocked by placing tiles adjacent to them.

Tiles have to match the tiles they make contact with on EVERY side.

Tiles have a random chance to spawn with a chest. The chest will open automatically when the tile is placed.

HINT: Some tiles can be placed down in more than one orientation.

Exchanging Tiles

Tiles come in several rarities, with certain configurations only available in certain rarities.

For instance, a tile with all 4 sides being water can only be a Diamond rarity tile. In this example, if you possess a Diamond rarity tile, but it's not the one with all 4 sides water, you can exchange the one you have for it.

If you do not possess any tiles of the correct rarity for the spot you have clicked on, the game will ask you if you'd like to purchase tiles.

How to get Tiles

- Log in every day during the event (3 tiles per day)
- Win a competition with a horse (1 tile per day)
- Take a horse on a ride (1 tile per day)
- Purchase them individually
- Purchase them in weekend promo packs

How to win the Divine: Freya

Capture Freya's territory in the center of the map.

The white outlined box the photoshopped yellow arrow points to indicates where you can place a tile. The faded out tiles over to the right indicate a "territory" with a prize, and you can see which prize it holds when you hover over it. The brighter, in color tiles are ones have been placed.Clicking the "territory" gives you this little pop-up telling you where to place the tiles in order to unlock the territory and claim the prize, although it seems we just have to place tiles around all of the exposed sides of the territory, which is fairly straightforward.

@ Eoroch

It is way too soon to determine that. This is a very complicated promo and it will take me a few days to understand it enough. Also I do not know exactly what the "specials" hold and how much they will be.default smiley (m)default smiley (m)

Will there be a session between 15:00 and 17:00 on 18.02.19?
By Retired breeder, February 15, 2019 22:12:17
This is the time in my time zone. My question is me the last 2 hours before the end of the game. Will the new session start or not?

3 till 5 o`clock is not 8 hours session and it is not logical to be a new session with 4 hearts. Will there be a session with 1 or 4 hearts or there wont be any session?

We have no way of knowing until it happens.

In all likelihood though, based on how past lotteries have fun, there will be a sessions with all 4 hearts available. The community reached their goal to get 4 hearts, cutting the number at the last minute would go against how the promo was presented, cutting out the last possible sessions (even if it is only 2 hours worth) cuts out a lot of players who are actually online in the states before their day 'starts'

There really is no reason why they would not let the promo run its natural course. All the other promos with 'set' time frames run the entire length of time with no early cut off. I doubt they would change it for this promo.

@Hallaloth
Can you ask this question the developers? We need to be sure. everyone can think in different ways when it is now clearly written. Please ask them.

Because you are in a time zone I am not familiar with try going with this.

There will be a session that lasts for 3 hours after update. There should be a partial session ( 2 hours) after that session finishes.

So if you can calculate that relative to your update time you should be able to calculate it.

Last session will be a session with 1 grabbing heart?

@cvetiss- nobody has any way of knowing. It seems highly unlikely that it would only be one heart.

I would expect the last session ( should only be 2 hours) will have all 4 hearts. No reason why it would be less.

A bit of a warning regarding the latest promo

Here is what your screen is likely going to show.

You have to drag the map around in order to see all of the territoriesThis is the map when you have your browser zoomed out, but when you click to place a tile, you'll probably want to zoom back in so you can see your tile selection more easily.

Oh boy... this whole thing seems very complicated. So each tile corresponds to a different territory and you line up each side with a matching territory to unlock a prize? Or to just unlock part of the map which once the full map is cleared you get a prize...

I'm just not visualizing this right in my head. Something isn't translating and I'm very confused default smiley xd

You need to fill in a few tiles to complete a " territory". Although the tiles look like you need to match them to the next one, that is not the case. When you click on one of the squares outlined in white a pop up will show what tiles you have that could go into that space so any will work. The only ones that are specific are the all green or all blue one and of course these are the rare ones. The special will be 5 tiles for 90 passes and you will probably get those rare ones in that package. Some tile will have the wooden, gold and Chrystal chests icon in a corner and placing them gives you access to the spin wheel. Once you placed all the tiles needed for a prize territory, you win that prize.

That is it pretty much in a nutshell.

There was one exception to this that I can think of!

The Halloween trick or treat event had a set number of kids that for some reason we reached the end of before reaching the end of the promo. The kids stopped coming even with hours still left in the promo. I was very disappointed that time in particular as I'd been counting on them. If I recall, there were issues at the start of that promo that may have caused the offset though I was sure it had started later for us so it made no sense that it would finish earlier . . . but anyways, I remember it being very confusing and time has not helped sort it out for me.

But as Hallaloth says, usually it continues running right down to the last few hours. Even promos that have "sessions" of one whole day will generally let you get the prizes or whatever items on that last day that is only a few hours, for example, you can always get more cards on the last day for the card promo. There are also some promos that finish the sessions but leave the "prize selection" stuff up for a little while afterwards but that is generally clearly marked I think. In fact, wasn't it some of the festivities that do this? When we collect shamrocks or something and then can spend them in a 'store' type of thing, the store has often remained available for an extra day after the promo session ended.

I remember that Halloween event, if I recall there had been some sort of hiccup in the system or something offset by the timezone that made it seem like the kids stopped coming. If I recall the explanation was that there was only supposed to be a set numbers of kids, somehow our timezone at the time made us have an extra full day after they had been due to stop coming which confused everybody. . .I /think/ that was back when the servers had a staggered start time on promos instead of all launching live at once, but I also think that was back in like 2014 or something and cannot recall all the details. It was a confusion situation.
