Hmm... Teke was introduced first on the smaller servers... I think we'll get a Friesian or QH redo before we get tekes.

Thanks Howrse Team for the new coats! I can tell lots of work and thought was put into these new coats and I'm overall happy with the new changes default smiley ^) A few of the coats, such as the Friesian and the Gypsy Vanner, aren't my favorites, but I can get along with them and I'm sure I will be used to them in a month or so default smiley (y) Keep the good work coming and thanks for the new changes to howrse! This game is great and I'm glad I found it. default smiley :-))


In my opinion, that is the best way to approach it. If you don't have good feelings about a new coat for a certain breed, don't go about and rant. It doesn't get anywhere and doesn't make you feel better either. It is like visiting someone's house for the very first time and they give you dinner. You don't sit there and say "Ew! I won't ever eat that! So gross!". No. That would be mean after all of the hard work and time that was put into that meal. Instead, you make the best of it and try what they gave you. You might even find out you like it after all default smiley ;) So, just because you don't see these people in real life, doesn't mean that you can't hurt someone's feelings or upset someone. (Sorry I've been going on and on default smiley (lol) )

Changes to the coats have been in the works for a long time. Ow posted a poll allowing players to vote for the style they liked best. Now that the coats are being added to the game is a bit late to express your displeasure.

I expect some position changes were necessary to make the visible tack line up properly without a different configuration for each breed. When I had access to the test site the new style was not available yet for the horse parade. I can tell you take an image of a horse with four polo wraps standing between the horse's legs was less than satisfactory. The bonnet was falling over its eyes and the look was messy if not comical.

Yes. Just yes. This is the way I feel (except I like the new GV coats).
We already voted for the new style, and of course not everyone will agree. There was a vast number of people who hated the V2 coats, but we all adjusted, and then they were changed again - guess what? We got used to those, too.
Changes will happen and not all people will like it but the majority is in support, so it will be. Think of it as almost a democracy.

I wonder when the EC changes are coming. And what cycles they use. I guess it would probably be pretty hard to program, but they did announce it a while ago. I'm not sure if I'm excited or worried about the EC changes.
