It is most unfortunate they are changing the Friesian quite so drastically. I have not seen in all the 99 pages a single person who likes the new coat. They gypsies are right behind that. I would hope that they are monitoring the forum and taking in the opinions, but right now everything is silent and it points to them not going to listen right now.

I know you are a big Friesian breeder. I am heartbroken too.

Ive heard (from the international) that this could be the new TWH horse- Not positive though but-

also they changed the size of the neck and other things to the new QH/Appy/Ac coat it looks much more conformed-

Here is the one that was leaked to this topic a while back.



The general consensus is that it's neck is so long and thin that it looks like a "bobble head". Many people complained. It looks they read our comments and took action. Here is the "new and improved" graphic.



The neck is thicker and the chest is larger. They also lifted the head carriage by just a smidge and filled out the barrel. They're subtle tweaks, but if you open the image file urls on different tabs, and then flip back and forth between them, they're noticeable. I actually like it now! If this is what we can expect to see on our American Stock Horses and Argentinean Criollos, then I think I'll start breeding them more actively than I have in the past.

It also gives me hope that the other new coats we've complained about will be tweaked, too.

I love most of them (except the GV and the friesian) so your not completely alone! I still think the shetty is adorable (although they still should be more plump)

I am sorry but the TW looks ridiculous. Why not just keep it running? That's my only prob. The leg position. I mean I don't want them just standing there but cant you keep it running?

@justice thats a normal stance for TWHs who are in halter classes just google "TWH halter classes" and you'll see- so its technically more accurate than the trotting position

YAY! I'm so glad they are listening!! I'm actually excited for the QH's to change now. I strongly disliked that middle image, but with just those few changes, they look so much better. The ears are up also, and it doesn't look so sad. The tail could look healthier though. Much better overall!

I knew it! I knew they must've done something to the American Stock horses, because it was odd as to why it wasn't out today, especially since it was one of the first coats.

Love the new Arabians! Can't wait for Akhal-Tekes and Curlies.

However, I'm minorly disappointed by the QHs and GVs. I also don't like the new Fjord look, because they changed almost nothing about it(I don't like the current look either).
