The test server is not really there to be played on. It is only accessable when they need testers. That Equus and Passes is given just so that people can test out the features like VIP, and new divines and Promos to ensure everything works. NOTHING done on the test severs affects your actual game, playing on there does nothing for any other server you are playing on.

as far as getting chosen, again it depends on when they feel they need more testers. Typically they just take a portion from Int since the smaller servers do not need their own test server.

All the explainations are good as I have been a tester for almost 2 years.

I would like to point out that we also give Howrse our opinions on how we feel the members will react to the changes ( may be too simple or complicated) and they do listen. So while people that are not on the testing site may think their complaints fall on deaf ears, they are wrong. Most testers mirror any complaints that members on the live verson have and while not all our complaints result in changes I will say they are taken into consideration with plans they have on the back burner that we are not privy to at that moment.

It is not easy for the testers as we now have to do double work as we still have to look after our own accounts so it is not really as glamorous as people think. All the beta testers do the best they can and if a bug or two slips through, do realize that plenty more are caught and corrected before Howrse ever goes live with them. default smiley :)

I would alsd point out that all horseshoes will be replaced with a saddle pad.Any in your inventory will be bought out by Howrse. If your horse does not currently have any shoes on it you will have to buy the saddle pad to compete.

You will be able to buy 1 star polos and ear bonnets from the store and the higher starred ones will be available through competitions ( this I am trying to figure out yet).

has anyone else had issues with flipping though horses, I press the forward button and it skips back 2 or 3 horses (sometimes back to the beginning of the list) it just started today.
