(All of this is from my understanding) Each server has an amount of tokens they need to collect based on the amount of players on that server. The servers work together to gather tokens in various ways such as UFO's, missions, ect. Once the destined amount of tokens are reached, the festivities begin! During festivities, the players that gathered the most tokens are rewarded with divines. I also remember Cyberhorse mentioning the more tokens you collect, the higher chance of getting a HoP as a prize. The howrse blog also mentioned TCs as being prizes among new prizes

From what I understand, Howrse is trying to get players to interact and work more with each other. In the Big Challenge, it sounds like all of us players are going to work together to win tokens through missions and things like that, and if we can reach a certain number of tokens, we win the Big Challenge. I guess the more tokens you contribute, the better off you are in getting nice prizes. Once we beat the Big Challenge, Howrse rewards us with The Festivities, which is a 5 day celebration where we are rewarded with "a Lottery, a commercial offer and some advantages won by the best contributors during the Big Challenge".

From the gifts I've seen listed on a page, they could be anything from new tack up to HOP and other BM items, and even Divines for the lucky players who did well for contributing. When the festivities are over, a new Big Challenge will begin.

That's my understanding of the article.

Anyone know when the next hop promo is?

the Horse Parade should have alerted us when it was about to be over or at least closed the section that allows us to get the horse judged because I had enough to get an H Gift and not I have gained nothing from all the work I did during the parade

I wasted all my points on parade packs I would say like 1200 and becaus eof that i gained nothing i should of gotten a hestias gift instead during the horse parade

The ending time of the Horse Parade was posted on the promo page the entire time. It was not a surprise when it was going to end.

I am glad these promos are now rarer I was tired of doing things like the horse parade and the lottery so many times I have dones those more than i did with the wandering horses I still wish I could of kept those divines it was the best day I ever had when i got that divine even if it was temporary

If someone could verify --- I'm hearing a rumor that these changes are going down on the 28th of this month. Is that just for the Big Challenge, or does that include the upcoming EC changes as well? (Meaning those that are in the article that's attached to the one talking about the Big Challenge).

@taco - Happy birthday to your dad! Funny, my sister's 18th birthday is on the 27. I can't wait because I'm going to be making a cake for her. Wish me luck on it.

clever - have you read that somewhere? I'm having trouble finding a credible source that cites a date or time frame for the EC changes, so I'd love to see a page where Howrse makes that kind of statement.

A year? No way! Howrse wouldn't tell us about something a year before it came! I am going to say in under 2 weeks.

Apparently the objectives are for sure ending on the 28th, but I haven't found anything about the EC changes timeline, only that they're going to happen at some point.

What can I say? I'm just eager to get some changes that will spice up the game for me again.

The blog post specifically says, "It does not mean that your favourite contests like the Cards will never come back on the game. They will just be rarer, therefore more enjoyable."

So the promos will still happen - just not one after the other like we are used to now.
