There are 4 new divines, stay tuned! I will have them posted soon!

I would imagine it is because they are revising Teams and allowing unicorns to have their own official teams rather than being stuck being ranked with normal horses.

Quite honestly, I hope Drafts are just an 'item' like the calves are for Western Comps >.> The current skill system is not all that applicable to drafts. Unless they eventually bring in Driving/Pulling Comps >.> which I would love to see.

I bet it will only take a couple of month for prices to drop. I would point out you can buy almost any other unicorn breed without using passes, with Qilin around, and Caicius not to mention VIP 1/4 chance and the new overhaul on teams, we will see a quickly reduced price on these unis, I would bet under 2 passes by 6 months out >.> Though now I have to actually figure out a blupping schedule for breeds I generally ignore >.> I hate working with western oriented breeds.

You've almost got it right, though the "\" needs to be a "/". So it would look like this: [spoiler*]Text Here[/spoiler]

Of course, take the * out.

well here's my predicament --

IF we have to have the Grand Prix fountainn to foal game correctly, I'm doomed -- I'll never get that ever again -- I can't affford the horses and my horses can't win -- this may be the end of the game for me

Foal games are not required to play the game. An extra 10 points per skill is nice, but I would put forth the opinion that they are not required to progress if you play the game. I would imagine top GP and skillers want those extra point. . . but would also point out there are THOUSANDS of players that ignore foal games entirely. I like them simply because I am a completion-ist, but, if I have to adapt down to fewer skill points it is really not that big a deal. You do not need higher skills to blup effectively and progress GP wise.

Also, this is only in the testing phase. Admin may well decide to tweak things a bit. I honestly would not be surprised if they eventually remove foal games altogether, I would bet only about 20% of players actually do them.

If howrse does this, a lot of players will be quitting. Maybe they're trying to put a lto of good before they put the bad

If they do that, they will be very inconsiderate towards NIB breeders and regular breeders that don't breed to have the best

Correct foal games aren't necessary BUT a lot of people need those 60 extra points to help win comps
well I do need those 60 extra points to help out -- I like to be competitive too even though I can't spend a lot of money

Elinea,

Cyberhorse posted on her page the new foal games. I don't know if it will get all 60 points (I haven't heard), but everyone seemed pretty happy about it. So, maybe there is hope for those of us on a budget. default smiley :)

I haven't been able to get Skillers a lot. I only got 2 skillers. One was when I found it in the direct sales pretty cheap and it was immortal, and one was when I bought a GA immortal. Both of them I didn't realize was a skiller.
For all those wondering about the foal games - Cyberhorse's schedule does indeed give the required 50 hours of play to get all 60 skill points. Not sure how it will work energy/health wise for the foal - we will have to wait and see.

Well, I have never been able to do the foal games correctly even with a shower or anything like that. I once nearly finished it with 59 skill points. The horse had 1 inborn point.

People claim they will quit over every little change that rocks their boat. That is their choice. Howrse has only made one change that I still, in over a year after its implementation that irks me (vet fees >.>) and they have made some pretty big changes over the last year and I have yet to see the playerbase leaving in droves.

Again, this is all in the testing phase, and people are already making steps towards full games. I am sure something will work out.

I did it twice with no "horse too fat" or "horse too skinny" messages throughout the total foal games period so it should not affect the health morale or anything that would do any harm in any way. default smiley :)

So until someone gets a better one I would suggest everyone copy it for their working schedule.

I do not have one for ponies as that will be tricky but suggest anyone trying for ponies work from my schedule and tweak it a bit.

@cyberhorse
My foal games are a little different now compared to what others do and they are based more on common sense and I still get 60 points so maybe this might can help you, if it doesn't sorry
I always feed my foals first, they get the most energy when fed. Then I play with them for the most amount I can, (If it says 99% needed and you have 98%- you can use the water, That's what I do) then I stroke them (You get the most out of it when you have the lowest energy) then give them turnip, & carrot and play for another half hour to full 1 hour. And almost always on the last 1yr and 4 months, I don't have to use my turnip.
Just basics to keep in mind(:
feed when they're not at 100% but as close as they're gonna get
Stroke when they're at the lowest they're gonna get
This works for me on all species and everything, it requires no meadows but an occasional box which is okay because it usually isn't enough to affect the morale

Huh. Didn't realize foal games were that hard for people default smiley xd I always just slapped an A. Heel on them and have been getting 60 skill points with each and every one of my skillers since Opal. Don't know how it's gonna work out with the new changes, but I'll figure something out....and, if I do end up losing a few points...I won't like it, but I'll learn to live with it.

I never use the meadows as I cannot rely on the ECs owner keeping them in good order.

Your schedule is perfectly fine for the moment but try doing your schedule without any turnips as that is what is going to happen. The energy gain will be totally different with the carrots and the grain so any schedule people are using now will simply not work...at all ( unless you are using a BM item)

Some very experienced ( myself included) BLUPPERS and and overall players from the International had a ton of trouble and have put a lot of work into getting a schedule out that will work with the new changes so that those that don't have the fountain or shower privilege can get the full 60 points.

What I posted is the result of their hard work.

We testers not only test things for Howrse but when we run into problems like this we all pull together to work out kinks so the average player can play ( without BM items, showers or the3 GP fountain) without stressing over things that could prove impossible.

I won't have any problems because I have the fountain and usually have the foal in a shower stall but a vast majority do not have these priviliges.

Cyber, a huge thanks to you and the other testers who put in the hard work and time to completely re-vamp the Foal Games for us. We really do appreciate it! default smiley :-))

They have released them like this in the past. I only know of two ways they have released them. One was doing pinatas, and the other through buying passes and both times they released multiple breeds at once.

Oh okay, I've never been on here for a uni release so I wasn't sure. I just thought they came out in promos or buying passes but only for a certain breed
By Retired breeder, August 22, 2014 19:46:49
When I do my foal games, I do them in my own EC. I keep my meadows up (they've been slipping for awhile, but that won't take long to fix) and I keep my boxes up and there's showers in all the stalls and I can remove my horses from my boxes, so I just stick a horse in there for foal games or BLUPping because I love my shower~
