I think the unicorns are still worth something, but only if you blup and breed correctly. i agree with players just breeding from 2y's 6months, and as im doing icelandic uni's, i am fully blupping them, and it can get quite annoying as im working and people are just breeding them like mad and getting ahead, without the effort.

Every post is talking about the removal of box reservations.
They are saying that is will be of no use to them to buy all the grea perks, and not be able to use it for their own horses or select friends, and that this game will be going downhill fast.
I agree partly, but I sincerely hope we misunderstud the removal or ownership. That would save a bunch of "no more use or fun in game" for all servers.

The only server that bis dead quiet and i think dead is a word that needs doubled when referring to that server is the Canadian server.

Their last spoiler post was on the 23rd of Aug.

I'm slightly worried but based on the info from the german server I'm hopeful that it is just an error in translation. All we can do is wait - for more info or for the change itself - and see what happens.

I seen on an other howrse site some howrses with the High Kingdom's Splint Boot bonus. Did only that site get them or have we got them here also and im just blind?

I know of a Shutterfly's Splint Boot bonus on the Int server. It was an old BMI offered during a promo to honor the showjumper Shutterfly. Horses got a special coat, a gold "S" next to their names and a bonus. Perhaps other servers had different Splint Boot items.

I can tell you without a doubt that it is not a translation error. On the English test server on our home page there is a link to the upcoming changes and it is all in English.

I just found out it is a gold card in the promo... here is what it is and does...
High Kingdom's Splint Boot

Use the High Kingdom's Splint Boot to transform your horse by giving it High Kingdom's coat, the horse with which Zara Phillips won many international competitions.

This item will give the horse the following bonuses:

Stamina: +25
Speed: +20
Dressage: +25

Gallop: +21
Trot: +22
Jumping: +25

When you purchase High Kingdom's Splint Boot, you also receive the High Kingdom's Saddle, , Bridle Saddle Cloth , Polo Wraps and Ear Bonnet , as well as a custom pictogram for the horse that the Splint Boots are given to. High Kingdom equipment parts cannot be replaced with other equipment parts.

Only horses that are more than 3 years old can receive the High Kingdom's Splint Boot. The coat is not transmitted to foals.

When a horse has both the High Kingdom's Splint Boot and a Golden Apple coat, all bonuses are cumulated. The horse coat depends on the last item given to the horse, however. This means that if you give your horse a High Kingdom's Splint Boot and it already has a Golden Apple equipped, it will keep the ''High Kingdom'' coat.

Not sure if its on this one or not. Ive only seen it on the UK site. Was hoping someone over here could tell me if they got one yet.... Its one of the gold cards on the UK site. Keeping fingers crossed we have it over here also

Zara Phillips and High Kingdom are competing for the UK in the WEG which the cards are based on. Perhaps on the US server we will get a Splint Boot based on a US horse? Just a thought...

It is highly unlikely that they will appear on any other server than the UK one. These items are related to Zara Phillips promo which is UK related only.

Rottweiler Lover stated that the Splint Boot was a gold card on the UK server, implying that it is part of the Cards promo. Does the UK server have another promo going on at the same time?

I think certain items given as prizes may relate to the server if such items like the splint boots are directly related to the UK server only. I have seen the full card sheet that is not UK related and this item is not there.

That's the reason I never want to be in a team. I also am bad at blupping and finding good gp. If I WAS in a team, it would be for role playing or avatar making, not breeding(maybe a little bit is fine, but not competitive breeding. Relaxed breeding is more my type). I prefer to keep affixes to my self.

I'm in competitive teams. I need to BLUP some before I'm kicked out; I've just been so busy I've had no time.

I just checked the Blog article that's been up for awhile. Oops Turns out I didn't know the article was posted on the 19th. But they make it seem reasonable and do sorta explain a few things... Nothing on the "ownership is removed" thing, but if the prepod tester from the INT server is to be believed, the admin responded by asking where they'd heard that Now I'm a bit confused, but at least I can relax until the changes smack me in the face.

Wolfheart- I don't blame you. Everyone is busy; with either jobs, college, or school. If you don't want the 'changes to smack me in the face', team up with someone and get materials ready. It'll make life much easier.
