I understand it pretty well.

What is going to be a problem is if you have a high end horse you want to compete with and you have the MB on after the GA they are going to remove that MB and take away the bonus. This means that if you look in the sales for a high end comp horse, any that are not already winged will be of a lesser value and I personally will now ignore buying them as you cannot put the MB on now to get the MB bonuses.

This also means that you must have the MB on the horse before you go to get the GA coat so in a sense you will not be looking at regular GA coats, just winged coats. So you have effectively reduced the number of regular coats that will even be looked at because with the MB on the horse first you will not look at the regular coats.

If I was one of the artists that do these coats I would not submit any regular coats now because of what OW posted.

Actually the Spanish Mustang was the first wild horse. I remember because I opened something like 7 hops and never got him. Misaki was like the third, but I cannot remember the exact order, they have been slowly releasing for almost 2 years now. I am glad this is the last release of new wilds honestly. My poor Trophy collection is already so far behind.

See, this really only applies to skillers and high end comp horses. Which, the average player cannot afford anyway. With the introduction of the Horseshoe Studs recently, and the tack revamp I think I will come down to what exact bonus's people want to apply to their horse. How many skillers get the MB and do not actually need it? An MB is Stam/Speed/Dres and if we do not yet have a breed that does not any of those three, I imagine we will in the very near future.

I doubt in the overall scheme of things we are going to see any major upset in GA coats being created. Collectors will still collect horse coats, and the occasional GA buyer is still more likely to purchase a 'regular' coat over a winged coat since the average player does not hoard their items and will use them as they receive them. We will just be seeing a lot more pegasus flying about and maybe it will just be a touch easier to predict which horses you can successfully compete with at a glance.

Probably not so much on the smaller servers but on the bigger ones ( and the US server is actually considered a bigger server as a spolier thread is not even offered on the smaller ones).

But I see how many GP entries there are in both English and Western and have to compete against the members that blanket every comp in the book ( over all skills) and you need every bonus just to keep up.

The horse shoe studs are only available to VIP members. Not even peggy account holders can get them so unless there is some other bonus available the distance between "average players" and those a step or two up and the very high end player will get wider and wider.

That bonus the MB gives you does make a difference in so many areas that to just take it away will not sit well with many players...and I am betting it is way more that you think.

Er... Hurcules wasn't a god. The divines are named after gemstones, planets, moons, stars, or gods.

He was a demi-god, and in some references, is referred to as just being a man.

Yes, yes the game is partially centered around greek mythology, BUT there are other mythologies that have played a big role as well, such as Norse mythology. It's not strictly greek.

The first unicorns actually appeared in Chinese mythology, not greek. Greeks adopted the unicorn from the Chinese.

I'm not too happy about the MB change.

I don't like that many Pegasus coats so which ALL skillers who depend on that bonus I give them one after I put on a GA.

I'm not too crazy about it either DocWho, but it is what it is unfortunately.

There for a while I was doing the same thing as you because the peg coats weren't all that great. They've started looking better recently, so it isn't too bad.

Good question.

I couldn't find anything about the Highland Pony's natural strengths and weaknesses on Wikipedia.

I am glad they fixed the translation error finally. Now we know what breed it really is.
