Exactly. Thank you for bringing to their attention, I've noticed a BIG difference in the availability of divine comps pretty much since they started doing all of the 'last chance' sales in reserves for divines last year. While more players have or have had access to the divines they wanted which is a good thing, nothing was done to even out the competitions with the increase.

Although it would be great if the divine comps worked the way the regular ones do with prestige going up with the skills of the participants, I could eventually see a problem in that as more and more players would end up raising the requirements to build up their prestige the way it is now with the others where the lower level divines would still be left in the dark and looking for comps to enter. I'm not sure how to structure it honestly but something obviously needs to be done.

Any players just starting out with their comps or with their ECs in general though, that's a great way to open up more divine comps with little to no maintenance (Its a real pain having to enter my own comps for some reason everyday just to keep them running) and a good way to earn extra equus. Great idea, I hope more players catch on to it default smiley (y)

so i adjusted the difficulty on those i could lol, one has a registrant already so here's to hoping it helps, but we'll see lol ... since i can't really see my divine comps outside of my EC page (i don't have any divines lmao) i work all day but i know a few of you will probably be watching purely for scientific reasons lol i mean heck, i'm not even really looking for equus, but if there's a need i can help with with something i haven't started looking at yet *shrug* why not? lol if somebody sees something i could change about the comps, shoot me a PM, i know it doesn't help my center is western, but still, better than nothing
What I would love to see Horwse do is allow ECs to have TWO or even three sets of comps

This would be another MAJOR change to the ECs

But require ECs to start out offering rookie comps - then when the EC reaches a specified prestige level - they have the option to add Divine comps (so now everything is scheduled to run twice) - then when another prestige level is reached they have the option to add normal comps. (so now everything is scheduled to run three times)

So you gallop race would run three time each day - 1st is a rookie comp / 2 is a divine comp and 2 is a normal comp

Prestige is tracked separately for each type and EC prestige is calculated ONLY on the highest prestige for that race - not on all thee variations.

Kinda like now - with your prestige level dictating how many workshops you can have in production at one time.

They could set it up so you have to buy different size tracks or arenas (we have different size tracks for Trot and Gallop now) - so they would have to do some programming to allow each of the extra races to have different requirements - and that could be complicated.

Just an idea

What about people who have rosette-level comps but don't want to work on the rest of their EC? They just want the rosettes? It's unfair to them to say "you can't have working rosette comps now" just because their prestige is low.

Personally? I had an XC rosette before I ever had decent prestige.
Good point Wolfheart - maybe it could be based on seniority instead so it doesn't mess with already established comps and gives people with good normal comps the opportunity to add the rookie and divine comps without losing the ones they already have.

soooooooo one has run lol
my show jumping doesn't even have any entrant yet. Maybe people aren't so desparate for comps after all ?

I can't see it in the lists as I don't have a rookie Divine or wild. Anyone care to look and make sure it is actually there ? Skills 198 to 397.

Gallop race doesn't open until about 3 1/2 hours from now.

Does anyone know anything about the next wandering horse?
@julsies: Wandering horses were a past promo, and have not been heard of returning. If they will be returning, it will definitely not be any time soon.

Crying shame that it won't be returning any time soon; we've had cards and pinatas at least twice since we had the last Wanderers. Actually, I think we've had the Magic Ride twice since we had the last Wanderers.
And that's terrible.

I can't enter mine as they are past rookie stage. ( this only adds to the problem also).default smiley :(

You might just want to go straight divine just to get it started.default smiley :)

After the divine from the GC and next promo divines are released there will be a lot of rookies. Also of all the comps the jump and gallop have done the best for filling.

What runs out of comps the first are Trot then dressage then X country then gallop then jumper.

I am hoping it never returns.

I anyone remembers the HUGE problem we had the last two times with NO comps available for the masses of LOW LEVEL divines all scrambling to find something to enter. The system is fragile enough as it is without destroying it completely. default smiley :(

Are you speaking of the Wanderers, cyber? That's what Wolfheart was responding to and I don't remember any problems with Divines on the Wandering Promo. It's actually one of my favorites, I've participated in three now.

The Wanderers can be entered in divine comps (similarly to wilds) so when a bunch of players suddenly get wandering horses they fill up the low level divine comps.

Bree-The Wanderers counted as low-level Divines and they flooded the comps. I just let mine sat; they looked pretty and do fair with AP farming for like five days, but that's it.
What I remember were the thousand foal games, rides, comps... Ugh. And the fact that NO ONE could find an EC with carrots to board in and when I got on late at night, the only EC left was Ow's EC. But I loved the Wanderers, too. It's actually my favorite, then the Cards, then... Well, it used to be the lottery but I'm lottery overdosed now to the point that I'm apathetic.

And Cyber, you listed all the Classical comps. I switch my disciplines when I try to find Rosette comps for my precious Divines to enter. Sometimes they get Western.

Yes and Aly is correct.

I remember the divine comps being so clogged that many just gave up even trying to enter any comp.

I know personally on the last wander promo I just didn't participate because of what happened the time before.

With the divines comp thing, will it still be possible for the EC to get rosettes?
Any ec can offer rosettes for any comp that has a prestige of 75% or more.

well .... one has run lol the others have a couple entrants ... so far eh lol

Not as familiar with the western comps but one thing I notice is it looks like your prestige went up. I thought it was in the 40's before.

Am I correct?

And I would suggest for the ones not yet run just go with divine only and take out the rookie status for the moment until it gets 1 or 2 runs.default smiley (y)
